Irene was recommended to us by our catering company and pretty much every local vendor we spoke to. She made the most beautiful cake for our wedding and several fruit pies as well. Our families and guests raved about both and some local guests were so impressed that they asked me for her information to get their hands on pies of their own (her green chile and apple pies are especially delicious and unique). Irene worked with Marisa's Millefiori (our florist) and they coordinated to decorate the cake with fresh flowers that matched my bouquet. Our wedding was held on a ranch 20 min outside of Santa Fe but everything was delivered on time and in perfect condition. Highly recommended! More...

I reached out to Irene to request a custom cake for a customer event that I was hosting. Despite the short window, she created a beautiful cake that was creatively designed and tasted amazing. Irene was wonderful to work with throughout, making sure that she fully understood what I was trying to create, and even met me at the bakery on a day when she typically would not have been working. We were beginning to think we weren't going to find our wedding cake until we met Irene. We knew immediately that she understood us and our vision. We just clicked! We love her! Working with her was a dream. We had a welcome reception the night before the wedding, for which she made cookies to go in the gift bags and amazing cupcakes. Besides making these killer cupcakes, she helped me design the cupcake station and then set it all so that all I had to do was deliver the decorations. She had relationships with the venue and was able to get in early and set everything up. I wish I had a good picture of the cupcake table because it was stunning. She also made the wedding cake exactly to fit my daughter's Mexican-folk art themed wedding. American Pie Bakery was so wonderful from start to finish. We got a cake topper, 200+ cupcakes and cookies for favors. All three were absolutely delicious and they looked so perfect!

We met with Irene to do a cake tasting before we signed up with her. We really appreciated that she did not charge us a penny for it. We were also able to sit with her and brainstorm about the different possibilities for our wedding. So much fun and she gave us a bunch of really great ideas.
We were so grateful she offered us all of that information without knowing we would go with her. She went above and beyond.
When we decided to go with American Pie Bakery, the rest was so easy. We had already discussed what we had in mind at the tasting, and she did not require much else from us. So easy and pleasant to work with!
I was trying to save money on favors, so went a cheaper route initially. When they came in and just weren't going to work, I reached out to Irene to see if she could help. At the very last minute she was able to add 250 biscochitos, individually bagged, to our order. She not only had our huge order, but quite a few more for that weekend. We were so incredibly grateful she was able to help us out, with absolutely no hesitation.
The day of the wedding she goes to the venue to set everything up herself. She has a vision and wants it to be just perfect. The dessert table was gorgeous and I did not have to do a thing. She has all the plates and platters necessary and does not charge a thing for them. She then goes to pick them up herself the next day. So easy for us and we are so grateful.
We couldn't be happier with Irene and American Pie Bakery. So much fun, fantastic customer service with a smile, and her baked goods are just out of this world!!

American Pie was recommended to us for our wedding cake. The tasting that Irene provided was one of the best parts of the wedding planning process. Eight types of cake and numerous frosting options. My fiancee and niece were over the moon. We decided on a three layer cake with chocolate, vanilla and chai cake and the honey frosting. Amazing! I dealt with Irene from another state and everything was so easy and uncomplicated. The cake and cookies she made were amazing!
