Great experience at this salon for years now. Rebekah always listens. My hair is very difficult to work with (thin, frizzy, somewhat wavy, somewhere straight and doesn't have a "normal lifetime" etc), but she got to know my hair very well and I trust her with different color and experimenting with new cuts (some pretty out there!) American Belle provided wonderful results for our two bride wedding! It was such a great experience! Faith and Kelly were so fun and flexible. As some of the bridesmaids saw how great the airbrush makeup looked, they asked to add those services on the spot. Kelly made it work! We also just loved their attitudes and results. Our makeup and hair lasted all day and night and looked flawless in pictures. I was somewhat hesitant to get my makeup done by someone without a trial, but it came out really nicely. American Belle is one of the best choices I made for my wedding! Faith was the sweetest and did a great job at both my trial and on my big day. Kelli and her team are amazing. I booked the team with only a quick trial at the Bridal Show. Faith was an absolute delight the day of the wedding and was the artist who did my makeup at the show. We were able to request the artist we wanted and it felt like she was part of the group the day of the wedding. The makeup she did was so beautiful and was customized to each persons preference. The only issue that came up was not being told we would be paying extra for lashes. We weren't really given an option or the information that they were extra until it was time to pay. This could have been an accidental oversight and didn't ruin the day. It would just be nice to know this in advance. Otherwise everything was perfect!! This place has a beautiful chill zen minimalist yet warm vibe, very Austin. It's absolutely beautiful inside and you feel the tranquility and pampering from the moment you step in. I cannot ever begin to describe how amazing Kelli and her team are. I did a trial with her (highly recommend that) and she was amazing. She and Amber meet me and my bridesmaids at the venue day of. Quick and my ladies turned out beautiful. I received so many compliments from everyone. Plus, they are super cool which matters when you are going to spend hours together. I have been going to Kelsey for quite a while now and I wouldn't pay to go anywhere else. She has done exactly what i came in there wanting plus more. I recently cut off 11 inches of my hair for the very first time and it blew me away how amazing the cut and color looked. I have never ever been disappointed and look forward to getting my hair done. Hands down the best cut and color I have ever gotten. I have long thick hair and have always been anxious about getting my hair cut or colored. Kelsey has been my stylist for 4 years, she's amazing! She always listens to what I need and goes above and beyond for me. I have crazy hard hair to deal with and she's the only one I've found who can handle my blonde (I'm a level 2 dark headed ) and she takes me to blonde. I'm a first time client visiting Austin from San Francisco for work.  I had a color service from a Ashley a week and a half ago.  It's exactly what I wanted and looks great.  Given her color strategy, speed, and quality result I'm amazed she's only been in the business 2.5 years.I liked the ambiance and hair products offered at the salon, as well.  I'm still enjoying the shampoo and conditioner I purchased.  As a frequent traveler to Austin, I plan to return to the salon and would love to have the ability to view/book appointments online.  That improvement would be great - hence the 4 stars. They were able to do all of it in 4 hours which let us all sleep in and enjoy the morning. I went to Lorette at Bex+Co after reading reviews here on Yelp. So glad I did! I had a bad haircut from an expensive salon that I won't name. Lorette listened to what I was having problems with (weird layers that I couldn't style) and also that I wanted to grow it out. Kelli and Lorette were amazing! They were both kind, fun, cooperative and very talented. They showed up promptly and prepared, and kept a pace that allowed everyone to be ready on-time without making us feel rushed. They were considerate when a bridesmaid fell ill and allowed another guest to be styled in her place, and discreet when it came time to pay the bill.
