I had to write a review on this venue because I have never felt so at home and well taken care of during the wedding planning process and actual wedding process within itself. For starters, Caroline and James are the most professional and helpful people that you could ever encounter and hope to work with for a venue. I met with them back in September of 2018, drawn in by the beautiful architecture and land escape, it was an easy decision to say yes! A year goes by full of planning and designing my dream wedding to a T. My wedding was a few months ago, on September 19th which turned out to be a flood day with Tropical Storm Imelda rushing through. I sincerely wanted to panic but with wonderful people backing you up and working for the venue, I felt at ease and comfortable, even when practically my entire wedding fell apart. Almost every vendor I had was flooded in or didn’t feel comfortable driving in those conditions. I couldn’t believe my luck but with the help of James, I was able to get every aspect of my wedding rebooked! From caterers to bartenders. He had a connection for everyone. Also, with my wedding initially being centered around an outdoor ceremony, it wasn’t a possibility at this point and James and Caroline helped me to move it inside and recreate my vision but in a stunningly beautiful way. My officiant called out as well and Caroline also had a connection for that! It was a stressful day but we were able to get everything rebooked within a matter of a couple of hours. I still had a beautiful wedding and I just want to thank James and Caroline for their hospitality and thoughtfulness throughout the entire process. I love you both for every provision that was made and for how comfortable/composed you both made me feel. If you’re looking for a gorgeous venue with genuine, honest and good hearted people there to help and accommodate you throughout the way, this is the one. I promise you won’t regret it. Thank you! Ambrosia is an incredibly beautiful venue! The stonework, outdoor flower gardens, and stone tower are breath-taking! Ambrosia offers an amazing indoor area for the perfect reception. This venue has it all. Beautiful, stunning landscaping and grounds. The bluebonnets are in full bloom, a true treat. Whether an outdoor ceremony in front of the breathtaking tower feature, to the ballroom large enough to fit everyone, and yet it is the perfect size for an intimate gathering. There is a charming area at one end of the ballroom which would create a heartfelt alter. Plenty of room and kitchen/counter space for vendors, cakes, bartenders, etc. The rustic elegance balances beautifully. The owners, a family everyone loves to know, are a true dream to work with. We had the pleasure of getting married at Ambrosia Crossing earlier this year. The staff was unbelievable, so helpful and accommodating! The venues beauty truly speaks for itself. The main hall is stunning and rustic with a Celtic touch, the bell tower is the cherry on top. We had our ceremony in front of it and it truly made the entire experience pull together! This is an awesome venue is. James, the manager is super friendly and down to earth. He's very responsive with his replies via facebook or text messages. Their pricing is very reasonable. The venue is beautiful. It has a tower, that you can actually climb up in. The gardens even in January were gorgeous. The wedding hall is a great facility. The bride's room has two separate rooms that are connected by an open archway. There are three salon chairs in front of mirrors, a table with chairs, a sofa, and an ottoman. There's plenty of seating. There's also a private bathroom for the bride. The bride's room has a digital lock, so you can secure your purses and other belongings. The groom's room has a private bathroom, table and chairs, and a pool table. The hall itself is large and has some unique decorations, but nothing overwhelming. There's are a caterer's kitchen and bar. The entryway has an area where you can easily set up your guestbook etc... They have 300 gold chiavari chairs for inside and 300 white garden chairs for the outside ceremony. A variety of tables, round, and rectangular are also available. Such a beautiful property! They have a great main ballroom area with beautiful stone work and architectural details, a very well landscaped outside area with water features which would be perfect for cocktail hour, and the ceremony space with the castle backdrop is gorgeous! The owners and managers are very friendly and helpful and are happy to tell you the history of what makes this property unique. Some other bonuses, it's a working ranch, vineyard and has a wild flower preservation on sight- so April weddings get tons of bluebonnets! Thank you for the tour- I can't wait to work with you!! I toured this venue yesterday with my dad and two of my four daughters (age 3 and 4). Even though we didn't book (we still have other tours to go on before making a final decision) I wanted to write a review to let everybody know how beautiful the venue was, and also how sweet the family is that owns it! Having a 3 and a 4 year old go anywhere with you can be quite a task... especially when you're really trying to focus and pay attention to what's going on. The whole family pitched in to play with my girls and keep them entertained so that I could truly get the most out of my tour. They played with them, chased them around, treated them to candies (with my permission), and took them to feed the fish. I hardly had to worry about the girls the whole time we were there. They loved playing with them, and the owner, Caroline, even carried my 3 year old around for a little bit. They treated us like family when we came to see the venue and it was a wonderful touring experience! You can really see the work she has put into the property & it is truly unique and beautiful. The landscaping is gorgeous, the tower is so unique & unlike anything I've seen at other venues, and the bridal suite is so elegant and pretty! It's a lovely venue & the people are even lovlier! I really enjoyed seeing the place & visiting the owners. If you are looking for a venue, I highly suggest adding Ambrosia Crossing to your list of places to tour! They have put so much work into the property & have plans of doing so much more in the future! I recommend this place 100%.
