I found Amanda on Google as I was searching for a wedding photographer near Boston. My husband and I are from San Francisco, CA however, our wedding was held in Duxbury, MA as we got engaged there. His twin sister lives there and his family is close by so ultimately, we decided to do our wedding in Duxbury. Amanda was genuinely nice from the get go. We talked on the phone initially as I wanted to get to know her first. I shared our love story and I was very comfortable with her and we had the right chemistry so I knew she was the one for us. I was still in San Francisco then so we didn’t get to meet until few days before my wedding - when I asked her to come down and see the property. I shared some photo ideas with her as my husband and I wanted things to be a little bit more conventional and fun. And believe it or not, she had already taken similar images before - who knew! Great minds think alike! During her visit, we talked about the timeline with my sister in law and wedding planner. She came prepared with her own questions and helped us sort things out. Then on the day of my wedding, she was earlier than the call time. Pretty awesome, isn’t it? You can tell that she takes her job seriously and is very passionate about it. She was running all around during the event and took pictures of every little thing. I had her for 6 hours so as tired as she was, she was an absolute Pro and never sat down. She owned my event and made sure that we captured every single moment from beginning to end. We had so much fun working with her! I just saw gallery today and they are so beautiful! Amanda’s creative touch was all over it. From the angles to the lighting to every inch of detail -her creativity and love for her work is evident on every photo. She's extremely passionate about her job and she takes every photo to the next level. Thanks, Amanda - we're so extremely happy about your work, your attitude on owning our event to make it the best it can be and we couldn't be so pleased with the results! You're amazingly talented! "Words could never express the way I feel when I look at the photos from my dream day. Amanda was so thoughtful with every shot and very in-tune with the surroundings. The purity of each shot makes them so personal. The ability to realize what the true version of the couple is, even all dressed up, and to capture the treasured moments with ease, and to let everyone be themselves! Amanda is exceptional to work with. My husband and I took a trip to Western Mass and I surprised him with a photo session at our favorite park. Amanda was very familiar with the location and had many ideas that I hadn't thought of and even showed me spots I didn't know of in a park I'd been to a million times! Amanda was not only on time and professional but has an awesome personality and makes you laugh the entire time. Amanda from start to finish was amazing! She worked with our budget (which was crucial since my husband and I were paying for the majority of our wedding ourselves) and listened to our needs, wants, desires and importantly what I knew I didn't want. She was available whenever I needed to ask her a question and responded quickly each time. It was super convenient beging able to go online and fill in any information she needed, including names of bridal party, a checklist of pictures I definitely wanted to be captured, and a timeline of events in which would take place. This online setup was easy to use and made the whole process a lot smoother and less overwhelming. We were always on the same page. Amanda showed up on time as planned and was there through the entire evening (til the lights came on) I wasn't concerned about what time she was leaving and if she captured all the right moments. Every time I turned she was doing what I needed her too-capturing moments I wasn't able to see, being the busy bride. Amanda kept me in the loop of what was going on throughout the day, reassuring me that everything was going as it should. I desperately wanted an amazing sunset and foliage photos as I planned our wedding date around that (10/9). Unfortunately it was pouring and gloomy all day :( Amanda knew my disappointment and reassured me that she would capture those moments the best she could. I appreciated her not steering me away from what she knew I wanted based on the drearyness of the day. She also reassured me that it was my call, whatever I wanted, she would make sure it was done, "I have rain gear for everything", she kept saying. My fiancé and I had our engagement photos done with amanda. From the start she answered my questions and helped me set up an appointment promptly. She was fun and easy to work with! She gave me pointers on what to wear! She choose the location and I am so glad we went with it, a beautiful park with woods, pond, hills and paths. Her ideas were great and incorporated everything we wanted. The photographs came out excellent! Friends and family loved them as well. I would recommend amanda to others if they are looking. Amanda was amazing during the entire process of planning our wedding and even greater on the day of. Amanda was very timely with her responses to any questions, concerns or requests that we had. Amanda knew our schedule for the day of our wedding better than anyone, and she helped to make sure everything went smoothly. She took the great photos of everyone getting ready, all while checking on us and helping to make sure we had everything we needed. She worked closely with our wedding coordinator and DJs to ensure everything was perfect for us. During our church ceremony Amanda and her assistant were so quiet and respectful all while taking stunning photos. Amanda was so patient with our families while taking tons of family photos at the church ceremony, which all came out wonderful. Our wedding was Disney themed and she went to infinity and beyond to take pictures that captured all the Disney magic. Every little detail of Disney that we incorporated Amanda made sure had an amazing photo. She did awesome with our two small dogs, taking the most precious photos of them. From her arrival early in the morning helping set up the guest board, to getting bride a snack in between the ceremony and reception, to making sure the last of the bridal party found their way to the after party, Amanda was simply amazing. Everyone planning a wedding will tell you make sure you like your photographer, we LOVED ours. She is no longer just our wedding photographer, but an fantastic friend who got to share our special day with us.
