We hired Amanda as a day of coordinator, and from the moment we met her, we were excited to work with her. She was such a fantastic resource while hiring other vendors. During the month prior to the wedding, she contacted me frequently to make sure everything was going well and to offer up assistance. On the day of the wedding, she was ready to go and handled everything. She set up a photo booth, worked with all vendors, and made sure that the day went on without a hitch. When I first met Amanda I knew she was going to be my wedding coordinator. She was so interested in me and my vision for our wedding and stayed closely in touch with me throughout our process. Every time I had a question she was so gracious to answer it and you know how Brides can be. On the day of the wedding she was more than available for anything that I needed or wanted and was so professional with her handling of any situation. When I came across Amanda, I thought I had everything figured out, I was more towards the end of my wedding planning journey and I really didn’t see the need to pay someone to come in and mange, when I felt like I had it under control. And no matter how well organized I thought I was, there was NO way I could’ve done it without her. I can honestly say that the day of the wedding and leading up was a piece of cake. As a bride, and with 90% of my guest being out of town, stressing the small stuff was something I didn’t want to deal with. The day of the wedding was me and my bridesmaids getting ready, enjoying the day, and completely worry free because I knew no matter the request or what came our way, Amanda would take care of it. I even had time for a massage the day of btw!!! She was prompt, well organized and really took the lead. She was the best hostess for my guest and made sure she and I were on the very same page from day one. She took care of him bigger issues and the tiny things I didn’t even think about. She was there whenever I needed her and was always a phone call or text away. She’s super personable and once again, one of the best parts of my wedding. Amanda was absolutely amazing. She made sure every single little detail was ironed out and I didn’t have to stress about anything. The day of the wedding was perfect and it was all because of her expertise and pride in attention to details. Amanda did an amazing job helping us plan and coordinate the day of our wedding. Hours before the wedding started I saw her making sure every person setting up was on task. We had ordered and paid for a flower arrangement by the alter. The florist didn’t bring it. I had forgot about it completely but not Amanda! She never missed a beat! She knew all of our contracts by heart and made sure the florist provided what we paid for! It was so relaxing for me to just be the bride on that day! Amanda was such a Godsend to our entire wedding planning, coordination and execution.
We had a lot of challenging and overwhelming factors to our wedding day – A large wedding party, a big family with straining dynamics, lots of church volunteers and miscellaneous vendors and many DIY design elements that needed to get done.
When we met before then wedding, I came to her with a lot of big plans and ideas but unsure of how to bring them to fruition. Amanda was so organized, professional, fun and ready to bring my dream party to life, that she completely put my mind at ease! She is the best combination of organization and professionalism but also has the most joyful spirit that shows in her work. Not only did she bring the necessary tools to mark off the long to do lists, but she also shared in our excitement, encouraged laughter and fun and made sure that I, as the bride was having the perfect day!
I realize now how rare it is that I spent day of my wedding completely stress free and excited because I knew that Amanda had everything under control. I went through the day unaware of any hiccups and stressors and watched as my dream wedding unfolded. I could not imagine going through my wedding without Amanda by my side. She did everything from pinning boutonnieres onto the groomsmen and making sure they arrived for pictures on time, to coordinating with the photographers, gathering up family members and SO many things that I was completely unaware of on the day. I don’t even know how most of my wedding day came together as I got my makeup done and sipped mimosas, blissfully unaware. That is all because Amanda worked her wedding magic, moving swiftly behind the scenes. Not only did she ensure my day was stress free, but took great care of my mom, sister and other family members to ensure their day was smooth as well. I could not recommend Amanda Jayne’s Weddings and Events enough, it’s a no brainer! And I would never imagine executing my wedding day without her help and expertise. I think all you really need to have your dream wedding is the love of your life, the perfect dress and a wonderful wedding planner!!!
PS - I found out much later that Amanda was actually sick with a terrible cold on our wedding day. I had NO idea she wasn’t feeling well because this girl doesn’t skip a beat and doesn’t let anything stop her from doing her best work! She’s amazing!
