After haveing a few quotes for various companys I had decided To go with A&M Drives and landscapes Anthony and his team came round he made me feel the most comfortable after researching his company I was more then happy to go ahead with the work after seeing that he is a well established company with meny years of experience behind him Anthony and his team where a pleasure to have work for me 10 out of 10 on everything that did very understanding and honest and stuck to be the word very easy to communicate with highly recommend thank u so much for my new drive

This was a reasonable-sized job requiring removal of an existing concrete path to the front and side of the house, installation of block-paving and replacing some fencing.

Anthony was eager to win the business, had some good ideas, and emphasised his guarantee. He also had numerous good reviews, so we thought we were in good hands.

The good:
- removal of the concrete paths whilst keeping existing mini-retaining walls.
- The new pathways look good
- Installed fencing – looks good
- John, the site manager worked well and did all the fixing
- Did an excellent job cleaning up pre-existing block-paving
- Did return on 2 occasions to fix snags

The bad:
- Had to ask to re-do the cutting-in to existing blockwork – it was poor, but fixed on request
- Also had to ask to re-lay bricks around a downpipe rather than concreting it in – fixed on request
- Anthony argued with me when I asked for an invoice, and tried to redefine what an invoice is
- Step at rear of property is poor. I went over on my ankle when a corner brick gave way – in fairness they came back to fix that….but
- … other bricks are now falling out of line and in less than a month there was unevenness across the whole step
- Anthony did not respond to calls or messages regarding fixing the step – 4 weeks and running we are still waiting for it to be fixed
- The first time it rained gaps opened in the paving – the sand was not washed away, just down between the bricks, showing that the brushing in wasn’t done very well

We thought we had got professionals in to do a professional job, but the quality of the job varied a lot. Relatives were thinking of getting similar work done and based on our experience will be going with a different supplier. More...

The guys took 3 days to do the whole patio the the results are better then we expected, with a high standard of finishing, Anthony and his crew where pleasant and polite the whole time they where here, also ensured they cleaned up after themselves on a daily basis and always left the site clean could not ask for someone better to do the work

I’m absolutely over the moon with my driveway! Anthony and his team did a fantastic job. Can not recommend enough, the guys worked tirelessly to remove all the earth by shovel and wheel barrow, laid the new patio and artificial lawn and the whole job was complete before the estimated time! Anthony and his teamed turned up on time every day and left the place spotless at the end of each day and at the end of the job. Anthony only takes payment at the end of the job to ensure you are happy with the work, which you definitely will be. From the moment we met Anthony until the day he finished the job, he was extremely polite, respectful, informative, focussed & hard working. We had AM come in to do us a new driveway. Anthony gave us a very good quote and we were happy to let them go ahead.They were on-site from 8am everyday of the project and worked through till 6, even when it got dark, they put their lights on and carried on. The driveway took 3 days to smash the concrete and dig up, put in the drainage, lay the hardcore and pack it in, lay the membrane, sand, pack it in once again and then brick pave the whole drive and pathway along side the house.The whole time Anthony and the lads were polite, professional and were happy for us to come out and check that things were going to our liking at every stage of the project.I would highly recommend AM to anyone that requires the services they offer and I will definitely be calling them again for any future work I may need.Great job, very satisfied customer.
