Alusstra events did a terrific job at my wedding. Eddie is the main DJ and very nice! Everyone was professional and polite. The music was a great mix and sound was great quality. They even give you a chart to let them know what percentage of music you want played in addition to their forms. Communication was great when preparing for the wedding. First of all, just to be clear Alusstra Events did NOT DJ our wedding , due to their own STUPIDITY! We met with Alma and Eddie months before our wedding in June 2017. He even came out to the location and made promises, promises, he's all Talk. Bullcrapper is more like it. After we left our initial $100 DEPOSIT, we NEVER heard from he or his rude wife again. We called up till a couple days before our day and no calls were returned, a d when they finally did return them 2 days before our wedding , they didn't even remember us. We told them to just forget it. They were not communicative at all , nor did they feel they need be. When we asked why they didn't keep us informed , "Eddie's" response was that they had better things to do than to worry about our BACKYARD WEDDING! Well your loss you lazy old bird, cause we had an amazing Outdoor Game of Thrones style wedding at M&amp;M Plantatio and we're featured in the <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FSanAntonioweddings.com&amp;s=28e553808efbc314ffe51e1f03c9f7d3bcafeb79cb43aba69c23b30f0fa197e1" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">SanAntonioweddings.com</a>! Alma was incredibly rude , Eddie was full of himself and definitely a crook, since he didn't even offer to give us back our DEPOSIT.  Don't hire these crooks.  They overbook themselves purposely and don't give who THEY feel is a big money client their attention. Both Eddie and Alma were amazing to work with! Our meetings were always productive and never felt rushed. We played with so many ideas and added/removed things up to the last minute. I never felt pushed into anything I didn't want, they were good at giving multiple options. Eddie will go above and beyond to make your day special, and Alma's creativity and organization makes them have a fantastic team. They provided amazing up lighting, fog machine, and confetti machine that was perfectly coordinated at the times we wanted them. They were very professional and worked well with other vendors. I would rate Alusstra Events more favorably had the following not happened: first of all, my fiancé &amp; I were only ever in contact with Alma and Edward, who kept telling us how beautifully &amp; professionally they handle weddings, which I believe to be true; however, they weren't the ones who showed up the day of our event. I did not realize they were sending someone else. That isn't a big deal, in my opinion, IF you let your client know ahead of time, as opposed to not telling them &amp; sending someone unfamiliar. The DJ arrived early but-unbeknownst to me, as I was busy getting ready-only set up in the reception hall, not the ceremony room, where we were told he was to set up because we had paid additional money to have him play the ceremony. Once set up, he told our friend who was coordinating that he would just play the music extra loud so the ceremony attendees could here it from across the other room. Had it not been for our friend insisting that he move, because the space seemed too far, we may not have been able to hear our ceremony music. Also, him having to move his equipment delayed the start of our ceremony by about 15-20 minutes. Again, we were told beforehand he would be set up in the ceremony room. When it came time for the walkout song, he started to play it, but then stopped abruptly, then started again. I think this had to do with him not being able to see us, the couple, and see our cues, because he was not in the ceremony room.<br>As for the reception, the up lighting was beautiful &amp; the DJ was polite, but he played only about 5 of the "must-play" list of songs we were told to provide to the company. The songs we listed are not hard to find but for whatever reason were not played so that too was disappointing; we ended up asking him to change the music because we didn't like what was being played &amp; im not certain what happened to the list we created. <br>My intentions are not to nit-pick but after paying approximately $1300 or so, you hope things go great.
