Very nice people & we love the pet wash! Tonight there was a small technical problem with the token machine I called the service number & although it was after 9pm they arrived within 10 minutes, they & fixed the problem while also letting me bathe my puppy as they worked. I have a 1 year old German Shepherd of bigger size. After a horrifying experience with Petsmart, and lots of research, we ended up finding a hidden gem in Alpha Dog! I initially took Zoey there for the use of their outdoor pet wash (an amazing 24/7 tool). Eventually, we ended up grooming through Alpha Dog, and they are PHENOMENAL (quick and she looks and smells GREAT EVERYTIME). I have since been back to ask questions and pick their brains about things I am experiencing at home with Zoey. They have hit the nail on the head time and time again. Most recently we were having food sensitivity issues and the beginning of joint issues (as shepherds do) and again, Alpha Dog to the rescue! Always took my dog to groomer by my mom's (in Parma Hts), even though I lived for the past 5 years in Amherst Township as I had used them while I lived over there. .. Petrified to try some place new, but had to pull the trigger as a 3 hour wait and biding time got to be too much when mom went into assisted living. Contacted Alpha Dog and immedialtely felt I made a good choice. Trusted my mini goldendoodle, Chloe, in their hands with what I had for expectations and they met them!! Wonder why I waited 4 years! Was there this afternoon. My dog Angel was very nervous as she doesn't like baths. She tried to eat your blow dryer.. (unsuccessfully) but other then that I would say that she did a pretty good job. Was our first time using it, and it was easy to use. It was clean, (the cage bars across the door that you can open-excellent idea when I finally figured that out because I was dying I was so hot!) We didn't have any issues using it and of course I got Angel some treats. All in all, a positive experience and I didn't have to kill my back to wash my dog.. so that's is a plus. We will be back! Not only that but I have a stinky dog... usually when I wash him at home he will end up not smelling fresh. Hugo my pup smells like he just came from the groomer. Our dog rolled around in something awful smelling at night. We figured by morning the odor would go away , which it didn't. No pet wash places are open at 7am but this lovely place. I brought my Foster pup in, a large 1and 1/2 year old Rottweiler in for a good bath before she went to her new family and the place is awesome. They were so kind and showed me exactly how to use the self-serve pet wash and I cannot believe how simple it is to use and how clean my pup was after her bath. They supply all the shampoo, (they also have tear free, for their little faces) conditioner, deodorizer, vacuum and blow dryer. I could tell my pup was actually enjoying her bath, which hasn't always been the case. What a great place to go. I had such a good time that I have offered to take my friends fur babies for them. Stopped in today hoping I could find something for my puppy to chew on instead of raw hides. (this is my first time owning a dog) Chip was very helpful in helping me find what I needed and what was best for my puppy. He also gave me a sample of puppy food that is 10x healthier for him than what I was buying. I am excited for my puppy knowing he is now on a healthier path thanks to the helpful advice from Chip! I can’t express how impressed I am with Chip as a trainer! He worked miracles on my Roxi! The first week she walked in so nervous. She wouldn’t go near him or any other stranger. Fast forward 6 weeks and she’s a totally different dog. She now takes treats right from his hand, lets him handle her and begs for treats. She has learned so much and so have I. We went to the self-serve dog wash and loved it!! My husky/Shepherd HATES bath and the dog wash made it so easy for me!! !!! I love that you have the tether that can be shorted through the rings so my dog couldn't jump off. We definitely utilized that.
