We were going on our honeymoon and we knew we didn't want our dogs to sit in a kennel the whole time while we were away so we were looking at options and came across Alpha & Omega Training. We took our two German Shepherds to Ray for a consult to see if the Board & Train option would work out for them. Our one German Shepherd had training prior and totally shut down, and anything you told him would go in one ear and out the other. Our other Shepherd had no training and was WILD on the leash, so walks with our dogs were not able to happen without being pulled all over the place, and being embarrassed. Ray spent almost two hours with us and the dogs, as soon as we left we agreed this is the route we need to take. We went on our honeymoon, and 14 days later we came back to dogs that could actually walk on a leash! They could heel, sit, down & stay, way longer then we thought they could ever do! Ray & Karli kept us updated with texts, videos and pictures along the way, which is a HUGE deal to me. You could tell they truly cared about our dogs and that our dogs were so confident in what they were doing. I cannot say enough about Ray, Karli and the entire staff. They have adopted us as well as our dog Cosmo. We rescued a 9 yr old dog who unbeknownst to us had behavioral issues. We did not know where to turn or what to do and we were exhausted. They are the best support system we would have asked for. They are not only knowledgable but sweet, kind and patient. I HIGHLY recommend. After only a few weeks he is doing SO much better. They even found us a groomer who wasn't afraid of his nipping. We have a way to go but I have full confidence that they will be by our side the entire time helping us AND Cosmo have the best life possible. More...

I cannot say enough good things about the whole team at Alpha & Omega. Our 1 yr old cockapoo started showing serious signs of resource guarding. We have been working with Alpha & Omega for a few months now and its been life changing. I was really fearful that we wouldn't be able to fix her. Ray, of course said "I can fix her, no problem". He didn't lie! We still have work to do but, I am so grateful in the changes we already see. My only regret is not finding them sooner! You can truly see how much Ray and the rest of the team loves each and every dog that they work with. If you need any type of training, don't go anywhere else! Are you at your wits end? Do you feel like giving up or that all hope is lost? Have you decided enough is enough? Well look no further! I was in the same spot with my pup this time last year. Fast forward just a few shorts months after us crossing paths with Alpha and Omega Working Dogs and our hope was restored. We had rescued Bentley from a friend of a friends post on Facebook with no intentions of keeping him. I have a bleeding heart and couldn’t help but foster him. After learning he had multiple behavior issues we knew we had bitten off a lot more then we could chew! Ray came to our home for an evaluation and with no hesitation started formulating a plan of action. We started with a board and train session, then moved to weekly in-home sessions. There was never any hesitation with any of the trainers. Everyone was completely calm and comfortable even when Bentley was losing his mind. He didn’t know how to socialize with people or other animals or how to behave properly. We have a completely different dog now. I don’t have to worry if Bentley is going to listen to me or if he’ll behave. I can say with certainty that he will because of the knowledge we gained from all the trainers at Alpha & Omega! More...

When i found out about Alpha and Omega, i kind of given up hope of getting my dog trained. From different trainers, i was told Minerva was too old, too aggressive and overall not trainable. Ray and his team has gone above and beyond. Minerva is dog reactive, and before we started training i would make sure i would take a walking path that Minerva would not see a dog. There were times that i could not get her to calm down once she saw another dog. Now Minerva can control herself. Forever will be thankful for everyone at Alpha and Omega ! More...

Alpha and Omega is fabulous! Ray and Karli are the best as well as Marissa, and the rest of the team. They have guided me with Remi through one of the hardest times of my life with a bad injury that left me in severe pain and dizziness . They have gone above and beyond to make sure Remi and I are happy and that Remi is well trained. They truly want to help and are genuine trustworthy people. My lab Remi and I have been working with the Alpha and Omega family for over a year and couldn’t be happier. We are now in advanced training and it’s always something we look forward to. .Remi was a handful before we had their help and now I can truly say she is the best dog ever! i always get compliments about how well trained Remi is and I couldn’t have done it without them. I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my dogs and have left my puppy with them for weeks at a time. They truly love what they do and it shows in their work. Absolutely amazing pretty much sums it up! I have a 2 and a half year old labradoodle mix who had never been trained properly and couldn’t understand the difference between right and wrong. She pulled terrible on walks and got super excited when she saw other dogs, so much so that she would pull herself in circles on the leash, getting all tangled up and bark to no end. Ray and Karli really helped with all of this, it’s only been a few weeks and we are already starting to see a difference in Rosie, they really know what their doing and I trust them completely! Alpha & Omega has truly made such a difference in our pup ! Kane our 1 and a half year old German Shepard at the time of training was very stubborn, and became reactive when he was attacked by another dog. We did not think we would be able correct his actions on our own, so we did our research and Alpha & Omega seemed to be the perfect match , and boy were they! We first did the board and train which as a first time dog owner I was very nervous of leaving my dog for a week with strangers. Ray and Karli never made Josh and I feel like strangers we felt like family right from the start. I received updates and pictures of Kane throughout the week which made me feel so much better and confident that I made the right choice. Just after a week we saw such a difference in Kane. He would walk without pulling , he would listen to commands and overall he just seemed a lot more calm. Over the next couple of months we did weekly on site and in home training and Ray and team did such an amazing job !!! Fast forward and now Kane is a graduate and we can now take him anywhere with us on or off leash without having to worry !!! I never thought it was possible but this team was truly dedicated in making sure Kane succeeded ! I cannot say enough positive things about the wonderful experience my family had with Alpha Omega Dog Training. We have two dogs, both rescues with one from a very bad situation. Both had serious issues while walking, jumping, and incessant barking. After a few short months of training the results are incredible. We can now have our senior citizen parents walk both dogs at the same time without fear, they do that well on a leash. The barking and jumping are now completely manageable. I have had a phenomenal experience with Alpha and Omega.They are GREAT people, and they will work with you every step of the way to create a program specific to exactly what your dog needs. What began as working with a dog trainer, has progressed to what feels like working with friends we've known for years.They will take a genuine interest in you, your dog(s), and they seem to always make you feel like you are their number one priority.In our specific case, our dog was pretty well behaved; but we wanted to work on his manners with people knocking at the front door, and walking on a slack leash. A really positive experience initially which went completely downhill after the initial payment. I paid for board and train and when I got my dog back was given every excuse as to why the dog wasn't trained according to our agreement. The owner said to me that he wasn't able to get the dog to do some of the skills we had discussed but I could bring my dog and he would work with him until I was satisfied. After thinking about it I wasn't happy with the offer primarily because that would involve a two hour commute and the time spent training which I had paid the additional monies because I wouldn't have the time to continuously go back and forth. The last conversation with Ray was rushed and I was told he would call me back. This over a month ago. Completely unfair business practice and morally even more reprehensible. Despite the loss of money my biggest regret is that after 4 weeks my dog is only able to sit and place. No stay, no come, no heel, walking is difficult at best and I've continued to practice the two to three things that he was taught. Sorely disappointed to say the least. More...

I, unfortunately, am typical in that since I have been around dogs my whole life I was sure I knew it all, well, almost all. Been to numerous trainers, but I am completely ECSTATIC that a friend referred Alpha & Omega to me. They are absolutely fantastic. Most other trainers have either been ok with the dogs but had horrendous social skills or they have had great social skills but I didn’t agree with their training methods. Alpha & Omega has BOTH. I think it’s important to mention this because training is really 80/20. 80% of the training is really training the human counterpart and 20% is training the dogs. Without people skills this task becomes near impossible. Ray takes the time to ensure the owners understand every aspect of the training...not just the commands and what to do, but more importantly WHY. Ray takes the time to explain why he is telling you to do something and takes the time to answer any and all questions you may have, which makes learning that much easier...there is no "question work" with Alpha & Omega. Knowing the what and why makes training sooo much easier, and I can’t stress that enough. Ray and Karli make a phenomenal team. Karli works her behind off with scheduling and so many other aspects of making sure everything runs smoothly while Ray is just incredible training his clients and their furry companions. His understanding of the canine mentality and temperament is second to none. They are also smart enough to surround themselves with fantastic and attentive helpers. I have seen some tremendous transformations ... whether it be in basic obedience with some downright wild and/or aggressive pets to teaching me and my boy in the incredibly complex training for sport work. The fine line they walk with understanding what and why a dog does something just boggles my mind. They see what we can’t and they either correct the bad behavior and/or let you know when the dog isn’t necessarily acting up, but reacting to something the handler is doing. The facilities are also top notch. A field in which the drainage is so good that we can train on it after a torrential downpour because the field remains unsaturated and their new building is not only well equipped but spacious enough to get you out of some nasty weather. Aloha & Omega has met any needs we had from teaching Ang how to establish herself as a dominant member of our pack to teaching me and the boy the intricacies of sport work. I’m not the best at training dogs. I have a 10 month old Chihuahua and had severe issues with potty training and simple commands also with sleeping. I was traveling for a few weeks and after much thought and raving reviews of this place, to send him here. We chose the immersion training and let me tell you I bawled when I have to leave him there. The owners hugged me so many times and made me feel safe and that my dog is safe. Each day on my trip I received photos and videos of his progress. And sobbed cause I miss my puppy. I recently adopted a one year old Black Lab / Australian Cattle dog mix after the loss of my boy Jasper. I truly knew she would fill an empty place in my heart, but soon realized that with not knowing her complete past history found myself in the most challenging of times. She is extremely rambunctious, with energy for days. I knew I needed to find help and fast, after also discovering her aggression with other dogs. Alpha Omega working dogs is an awesome family owned business the trainers are very knowledgeable ,friendly and caring about not only your dog but you. My dog Emmy and I have been training for schutzhund with Ray for about a year now. I am so grateful that I found Ray to train with. My learning under his guidance has been exponential, giving me advancements in my skills as a handler and a trainer as well as in my dog. One thing I love about Ray’s methods is he lets me build a connection with my dog by showing and teaching me all the improvements I need to become a better handler. I would not be as successful with my dog’s training if Ray had not encouraged me to put in the time and love into the sport.
