As former dog trainer and commander in the military canine unit and later as trainer for domestic dogs I have acquired a wide range of techniques and methods. My main goal as a trainer is not only to train the dog but also to teach owners how to train, handle and understand the psychology of their dogs.

My wife and I are first time dog parents and we were extremely lucky to find Alon. Whilst we had read books on what to do with a new puppy, reality was far different and Alon taught us how to communicate with our puppy. Involving Alon early in puppy training has proven extremely beneficial as he has helped our puppy develop good habits from the start. The puppy’s recall and responsiveness to commands is very good (we sometime get positive comments from other dog parents on walks etc.). Overall, Alon has been extremely helpful in us having a happy, calm, obedient, confident and separation anxiety free puppy. We would definitely recommend Alon to any dog parents! More...

Over the sessions, Enzo has developed a very solid recall and has significantly improved his worst trait - walking on leash.

Alon was very good. As first time dog parents we got our now 8 month old papillon, Freddie, in lockdown. We did our best, but felt we needed help with a few things. Alon was able to help with recall, barking, clicker training and overall confidence. He was very knowledgeable, took his time with us and his techniques worked. I would recommend his services! I’ve had Labradors for 24 years and never had any problems until I acquired two puppies, a 10 month old cockerpoo and a 6 month old Labrador.
I decided I needed help ironing out a couple of problems. Ifound Bark.com on the internet and I was contacted quickly and met up with Alon I realised straightaway he knew his stuff. He has a natural authority and presence with the dogs and the dogs responded at once to his gentle commands. I was so impressed by his expertise and excellent handling of the two deviants that I have engaged him for further lessons.
I highly recommend Alon and have no hesitation in endorsing his capabilities.

Alon has been incredible in helping us to train our rescue pup. When we adopted our dog, he had terrible separation anxiety and could not be left alone for even a few minutes.
After having to move flats because of our dog's excessive barking, re-arranging our schedules, working from home, etc. We finally reached a point with our dog where he is calm being left alone and we can relax, go out, etc. Alon's methods are not extreme or harsh at all, but they really do work. We are very happy with Alon as a dog trainer and will absolutely work with him in the future if needed, or with any new pups we add to the family.

Our 5 year old coli-lab Cai was having issues with aggression towards other dogs (he attacked McQueen the puppy) and also we had never managed to get over his separation anxiety and he wasn’t able to be left alone. Alon has him for two weeks board and train and he has come back so much more capable and calm. Throughout the training Alon kept us up to date with pics and videos of Cai’s progress, and was obviously completely invested in his wellbeing as well as his training. Cai is now best buddies with McQueen, and we are working on building the time he can be alone with the techniques Alon taught us. Cai is not a young dog, but Alon helped him to build his confidence and make him safer and more independent and we are happier dogs and humans thanks to him. His rates are reasonable and he has kept in touch long afterwards to check up on Cai. Highly recommended. More...

Alon has been a life saver for myself and my difficult dog Nelson. I was on the brink of the letting him go because he was so strong, stubborn and frankly potentially dangerous.
From the first lesson with Alon Nelson was responding to me differently and I am delighted to see light at the end of the tunnel. I had used other dog trainers that didn't click with my dog and were fearful of Nelson , Alon has a really calming influence around dogs. He is also a great human trainer, it seems I was doing a lot wrong. Alon is positive and insightful , I can't recommend him highly enough!!

Alon is the best! I have a toy poodle and even from the first lesson we have learnt come and sit!! He is very educated and excellent trainer. The most significant thing is that he gives you at the same time all the necessary advice that any dog owner needs in order to have a better relationship with his/her dog and makes the dog to be calm and learn everything smoothly through games and playing. Alon met our Golden Retriever pup, Daisy, when she was only 4 months old. With his attentive and loving care he taught her (and us on the way) good behaviour by positive reinforcement. He still checks on her from time to time and teaches her fun tricks that make our lives with Daisy much easier. We suspect she loves him (slightly) more than she loves us, truly a dog whisperer if there ever was one :P More...
