I'm late in writing this but I need to say.. Aloha Ever After is... The.. BEST!!! I don't know where to begin. When I first booked, they were gave a lot, and I mean A LOT of information and recommendations for ceremony/reception locations, flowers, how to wear your hair, you name it! Their flower and wedding package exceptions are great and they're will to tailor it to your preference. I brought my own silk flowers but they were super flexible when I had to needed to order leis last minute. Planning an out of state was daunting at first but their wealth of options, information, and GREAT communication made it so easy. We got married on Hanalei Bay on a September Saturday morning and everyone remarked how wonderful Joel was as our officiant. He truly has the aloha spirit and led a serene and harmonious ceremony. We eloped in Hawaii recently and Joel and Timory were amazing. The weather on the day wasn't co-operating and Joel helped find us a new location at short notice that was simply perfect.
Joel made our ceremony so special, personalised and professional and we were very happy with the result. Timory did wonderful photos on a windy and very overcast day and they have turned out amazing!

Phenomenal coordination and a magically awesome ceremony!  We enlisted Aloha Ever After to help us plan our elopement to Kauai for a beach wedding. They were recommended by the "The Ultimate Kauai Guidebook". We live in Florida and had never been to Hawaii so we needed help! We also had a special request- we wanted to find a pastor that would hike 2 miles on a challenging trail to a secluded beach. We received a prompt return call from Pastor Joel who happens to be a hiking enthusiast and agreed to our plan! He also found a photographer who was willing to join us! But Mother Nature had other plans. Two weeks before the wedding the trail was washed out by the worst storm in over 100 years. Joel came to our rescue with other possible venues. We decided on Hanalei Bay and we think it was even better than our first choice. The ceremony blew us away. Joel skillfully joined a number of Hawaiian wedding customs with words of wisdom, insightful thoughts on relationships, and humor. Joel is a very genuine and caring person. He is also very detail oriented and professional when it came to coordinating for the wedding license and other services (floral, photographer, hair, etc.). I worked with Timory to plan a surprise proposal for my girlfriend (now fiance!). The proposal turned out perfectly in large part to Timory's professionalism, hard work, great communication and creative ideas. The cost is a little expensive, but it is well worth it if you want your proposal to go well. It all greatly reduces the stress level to have someone there who knows what they are doing and can help setup a romantic scene for your proposal. Right after the proposal and photo-shoot, Timory showed us a preview of the pictures she took and they looked absolutely beautiful. Timory delivered! I popped the question to my girlfriend on a remote beach in Poipu and wanted someone who would not only capture the moment, but help me make it extra special. Timory did just that. Aloha Ever After, Timory and Joel, did our wedding planning and photography (Timory) for our wedding here on Kauai. We had our wedding at Kauai Beach Resort with about 50 guests. We had our ceremony on the beach and the reception in a tent on the lawn area.
Timory did a great job communicating throughout the entire journey of planning up until the wedding and made sure everything went smoothly on the wedding day. I let her know my budget up front and not one time was I pressured to go above (which I feel is rare with a wedding coordinator/planner). We absolutely loved our setup/tent, decor, cake and DJ (DJ mike) that she hired and worked with. Everything looked amazing with the beach right next to us and the lighting and the way the colors were put together.
By the end of the night we had everyone raving how great everything was! Every guest was having the best time and the groom and I were extremely happy! It is an incredible feeling at the end of the night knowing there is not one thing you would have wanted differently-huge thanks to Timory and Joel for that! They really care about the bride/groom and are willing to go above and beyond to make the day special and flawless! From the moment I contacted Aloha Ever After and spoke with Joel, he understood my wishes and helped plan every aspect of the wedding and ceremony. The communication over the past few months was excellent. On the day of our wedding we were planning to go to Anahola Beach, unfortunately it began to rain hard and wouldn't let up. It was raining on most areas of the island and we were unfamiliar with the island. Joel and Timory gave us options to relocate the ceremony or even change the day and when we insisted on keeping the day they helped us find a location that had a pavilion. It turned out to be a stunning location on Lydgate Beach. The ceremony that Joel performed was beautiful and felt like it was tailored to us. The ceremony was very special and intimate. We were so grateful for Timory!!  She was such a trooper and photographed our family in the rain, at different venues of my choosing (big tree roots under a canopy, bridges, gardens, and beach shots) and was so easy to work with.  She battled traffic and drove to the opposite end of the island to come to a spot that was meaningful to our family.  She was very communicative and did a great job with everyone from my 70 year old parents to my 2 month old niece.  We're so grateful for our beautiful pictures! I am a detail person, and he responded to every one of my calls and emails promptly, making sure that all of the details were taken care of and my questions were answered. I can't say more about how amazing you made our day! Caitlin was amazing during the time leading up to our special day and even more amazing the day off! She made my mom and I look like princesses! Timory although I did not meet her till the day off our wedding was amazing she made the ceremony go just as a we requested and even more memorable! We're really grateful for the amazing job Aloha Ever After did arranging, executing and photographing our family gathering to celebrate our parents' 50th anniversary.

Here are some things that really stood out as important to me.
- How we found them: We interviewed 3 or 4 different event coordinators by phone from the mainland. Aloha Ever After were the only ones that clearly got what we were trying to achieve, and were so warm, engaging and intuitive by phone that we immediately knew we could trust them and would enjoy working with them. (We were completely right, for the record.)
- The plan for the ceremony evolved as we discussed it with Caitlin, and ended up being far more...well, everything, than we could ever have conceived on our own.
- The ceremony itself, cowritten with Joel, was thoughtful, gentle, meaningful and eloquent. Joel had just the right demeanor - a mix of gravitas, warmth and cheer - to make the ceremony really special. It was so well done that it brought most of the family to tears with joy and love.
- The floral arrangements (made personally by Caitlin) and overall decor for the dinner were simply spectacular - fresh, elegant, lush, tropical and stunning. Accompanied by subtle, thoughtfully conceived lighting and accents, the decor was a work of art.
- The dinner and dessert were, by request, pretty complicated, but were handled wonderfully. The quality of the food was superb, and the service and timing of service were graceful and inconspicuous.
- The photography was simply spectacular in its outcome. Timory has a wonderful, intuitive eye for seeing just the right pose or just the right spontaneous moment to perfectly capture not just image but feeling. She also had a great knowledge of the event location and the island environs, and chose just the right settings, backgrounds and locations for our group photos. Timory and Joel of Aloha Ever After made planning a wedding thousands of miles away a piece of cake! Through numerous emails and phone calls Timory and Joel took care of everything! When the leis we'd wanted weren't available after a hurricane (good enough excuse lol) Timory got together with the florist for fantastic replacements! I don't know how many times I said "Why do people get so stressed out over a wedding!". We were so relaxed we got to actually enjoy the whole ceremony! My partner and I had a more elaborate wedding ceremony and reception in Atlanta, Georgia with family and friends and then flew to Hawaii for our honeymoon and civil ceremony. Tiimory at Aloha Ever After is truly an Angel! I used her and her associates for photography, videography, and photo booth for our wedding in Kauai on 11/11/13. She went above and beyond our expectations! Her attention to detail, considerate mannerism, and sweet heart really is an asset to any event... especially the big day! I found Aloha Ever After through google search and I contacted them by email. Kimberli responded to my email and also contacted me over the phone. She was very resourceful and gave us ideas and options for the type of wedding we were looking for. We picked the Simple Yet Elegant Wedding and they took care of all the appointments for us including the bouquets, leis, and gave us a break down list of the officiant's that you choose to do your wedding and among other things. Kimberli, and I exchanged emails and phone calls and was answering my questions on weekends and on her days off. I also requested for a make up artist last minute and they found an awesome hair and make up artist for me. They are very detailed and I received all of the information I needed a week before the wedding and was readily available the day before and on that day of our wedding making sure that we do not get lost. If you do get lost they will accommodate the spot of where you want to get married just as long as its on the same Location and not a sacred ground. Timory our photographer was awesome, experience and very professional. Overall, my wedding was stress free and our friends enjoyed our small but intimate wedding. Kimberli helped me plan my beautiful wedding in Kauai and it was perfect.  We also planned the entire wedding via email, and it couldn't have gone better.  The hair and makeup artist that they had booked for me was amazing, and our photographer was not Timory but she was great as well.  There were a few things that kept me from giving Aloha Ever After 5 stars - when I sent in the final amount 30 days prior to the wedding, it was a few days before they had confirmed receipt of the payment (Kimberli explained afterwards that she was off and didn't have wireless access), but I did wish that somebody could have confirmed receipt of the payment.  We were also hoping to have a back up plan in place, just in case of rain (the forecast called for rain all week).  Normally, it woudln't have been a big deal, but because we had to drive about 20 minutes through unpaved road to get to our beach, I wasn't sure what would happen if it did rain - which thankfully it poured the night before but was beautiful on our wedding day.  Overall, I like the packages offered by Aloha Ever After and I liked the fact that you could take away or add anything you wanted from their a la carte menu.  Thank you so much Kimberli! I attended a wedding that was planned by Aloha Ever After and was floored by how wonderful it was.  The coordinator made a simple beach wedding seem glamorous and beautiful (and amazingly comfortable too. )  As far as I could tell every detail was taken care of; flowers, music, bathrooms (important for an outdoor wedding), childcare and entertainment.Although I have no plans on getting married anytime in the near future, if I did and it was going to be on Kauai, I would definitely use Aloha Ever After.
