I was so concerned that my lawn would be ruined after needing to take down 2 105 ft Ash trees using a crane. I explained my fear to one of The owners and was assured that my property would not be damaged which was backed up in writing. True to their word , not only were they the most professional while properly safe guarding my lawn against heavy equipment damage, after finishing their cleanup they proceeded to seed and lay hay in any spots that may have been affected which were minimal . We recently had Ben come by our church to check out several large shrubs and were blocking the view of various lower windows and becoming a security issue. We walked around together discussing the best approach. His men came out on a morning when school was not in session and spent the day removing the bushes, grinding the roots, reseeding and laying straw.When they were finished, the place was immaculate! Allen & Trees Services evaluated my situation, which consisted of two very large locust trees frequently dropping branches, a dying pine tree, two unwanted tree saplings growing along fence line, lots of invasive ivy vines, in other words, years of untamed wild growth in progress. During the site visit, in response to my questions, I was given answers, and the low cost scenario and the high cost scenario (which matched my vision). Even though discouraged initially that the verbal estimate cost was lower than the first proposal cost, I got a reasonable explanation why, and I was offered a discount, which I agreed to.The work date was set. Allen & Sons arrived and at the end of the day, the work more than fulfilled the terms of the agreement. The difference was dramatic. All work was done with careful attention to detail adding up to an excellent outcome. The evening after the work was done, I received a call and emails each day thereafter for the purpose of communicating the Allen & Sons' intent to fulfill the agreed-to proposal to the greatest possible extent, giving a chance to identify anything not completed adequately. My questions about required care of the newly planted trees were answered with assurance of a followup visit regarding these trees.I highly recommend the services of this company. The crew arrived on time and got right to work. It was amazing to watch how organized and efficient everyone was. I was pleased with the job they did pruning, cabling and securing my pear tree, and removing the remainder of a very large tree out back. They grinded stumps from smaller trees we had cut down previously , and when they finished , they removed all the debri and cleaned up completely. Everyone was polite and professional. Ben came the day I called and gave me a very reasonable quote for a tree removal in my front yard. I was fortunate that the company was near my house working on other tree services that day and they came to my house the same day. It took the guys about an hour to cut down the tree, grind the stump, and cover with mulch and grass seed. I’m very pleased with their customer service and how quick their response was. I also used Allen and Sons to remove a monstrous tree in my back yard a few years ago. The tree was struck by lightening and fell against my house. They were there the next day to remove the tree! We have had Allen &Sons Tree Service to our house twice They did a wonderful job of trimming of removing my maple tree the first time The maple tree was full of carpenter ants Just recently had them back to trim the dead wood from my ash trees. They could not use the bucket truck in my back yard, so two of their men harnessed up and did a fa ulous job of removing the deadwood. They cleaned up the yard and only left the wood we asked to keep. They even used their chain saw to cut the logs into fire pit size. Highly recommend them. More...
