My power went out after an electrical fire which destroyed the meter box. After the infrastructure guys and energy company replaced their bits of kit, I needed an electrician to reconnect from the meter to the house and test the system. I wanted to take the opportunity to thank this company for their work on my driveway lighting. The addition of the inset motion-sensored lighting added a lovely high-end elegance to the new driveway installed by Haydon Hill Paving. The quality of workmanship was top class; the team was on time, friendly, very organised and each step of the process was professional. Absolutely top customer service: Courteous, efficient, prompt and highly skilled. Really, could not ask for more as an emergency call-out. Regretfully deducted one star as they are extremely expensive (£120 per hour, with minimum one hour) which is fine for an emergency but unfortunately we will not be able to use them for standard jobs. Was having a smart meter added at the house and experienced a total electrical outage that couldn't be resolved by the meter engineer. I randomly called on All Sparks to help fix the problem we were facing. Was slightly worried on the possible cost as it was the first me calling them out - and wasn't sure how long it would take them to fix the problem. I had some sockets fitted and repaired in an extension and some lighting in a bathroom. All sparks offered me great advice on improving my home. They were reliable and had the job finished within a day. They were quick to book me in for the work and were polite, clean and professional. Do you get a pit in your stomach when you call a service provider (electrician; plumber; builder etc) knowing they will have you over a barrel because it's an emergency? I do - but not in the case of Barry and his team at All Sparks Electrics. My mother's immersion heater failed leaving her without hot water; she's 86 years old, frail and vulnerable. I'm hundreds of miles away. The guys couldn't have been more responsive, professional or helpful, and got her hot water running again within hours. They sent me photos of the water tank electrics, which were in bad shape, and recommended that the entire hot water tank ideally needs replacing. They then hooked me up with a plumber who has already quoted me to do the job, courtesy of these guys efforts. I cannot speak more highly of this company and it's members, and they go straight into my little black book of "Best companies to work with". First of all, the boys at Allsparks were all and extremely courteous; they also provided a very personal service. They definitely went the extra mile, even coming out very late at night to provide much-needed advice/input. Their connections were all spot on and when they weren't completely satisfied with their readings, they were happy to spend the time weeding out faulty switches/sockets.They arrived at the times they said they would and were reliable in their communications. They didn't drag work out and were happy to stay late, even on a weekend, to get finished.They weren't the cheapest day rate you can find, but the service was well worth the extra in my opinion. When they were asked to pick up materials, they passed on the cost transparently and without adding their own percentage. Further, they didn't come back with additional charges when something took slightly longer than anticipated.I will definitely be using them for my future need. More...

I am a landlord and called Cameron a few months ago re a problem. He was very helpful even though I didn't use his team at that point. After unscrewing a 3-switch light switch to paint the wall, it was a mystery when one of the lighting circuits no longer worked. All Sparks electricians were very efficient, arrived spot-on the agreed time and proved very knowledgeable, finding the switch itself was at fault.
