One word to describe this group would be UNBELIEVABLE! We have never been to a wedding where 90% of the people were dancing before AND after dinner until these guys! We were joking that people didn't really eat our desserts, fill out our guestbook, or even remember to drop off their card because they were too busy breaking it down on the dance floor! Adding the live drummer was a unique experience and we had multiple guests (including a couple that wanted to use them at their upcoming wedding) tell us it was by far the most fun wedding they've ever attended and raved about the music. Perry brought a few extra guys for set up and they even joined in the fun by doing choreographed dances. We can't thank you enough for keeping the energy up the entire night. Richard was a true professional and a pleasure to work with! We went with the live singing and DJ services and he knocked it out of the park. He was able to adjust to the needs of our venue regarding sound and amplification and helped control the flow of the evening. This review is long overdue! Aaron DJ'd our home wedding last September and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. During the first phone call, he totally got our vibe. We didn't want anything cheesy, we just wanted people to have a fun time without sticking to only top 40. We kicked off the night with David Bowie's "Let's Dance" and ended the night with LCD Soundsystem's "Dance yourself Clean." I requested "I Believe In a Thing Called Love" by The Darkness and that was hysterical-- people had a lot of fun letting loose. The whole evening went off without a hitch and all of our guests had a blast. We would highly recommend All Ears DJ, and if you're lucky enough to get to work with Aaron, you're in great hands. DJ Kidd was so great! So many of our guest talked about how much they loved our DJ. People were dancing until the lights came on! We booked Odiaka from All Ears DJ for our wedding last September and he was an absolute joy to work with!Meeting in person and sending over a list of songs, booking our wedding DJ with All Ears was an easy and stress-free process. Odiaka got our music taste right away, played all the perfect old-school songs and popular hits that we love and kept our guests dancing all night long. My experience with All Ears DJ was great! Richard (owner) is professional and has a great sense of humor. He set us up with DJ Aaron for our Nov. 3 wedding. They made the process really easy - offered us time on the phone to talk through our music tastes/party vision. They use a nice planner form to make sure everything is covered. I threw some Greek tracks into the mix and Aaron was well prepared, polite, dressed nice, and kept our guests dancing until the end. He also played all of our requested songs. Richard did an amazing job at our wedding. We did not want a bunch of cheesy party games or call outs at our reception--just someone who would focus on the music and making sure our guests were dancing. We were also looking for someone who would make our ceremony feel special without resorting to a quartet or string ensemble. We looked at several DJs but didn't really feel a connection with any of them. However, after we listened to Richard's mixes on his website, we set up a meeting. We met for an initial consultation and he immediately clicked with both of our musical tastes--hip hop and indie. He was game to play our processional song acoustically for the ceremony. Two weeks before the wedding, we got in touch with him, and he sent over his pre-wedding questionnaire (names, order of reception/ceremony, genres, etc). We added several more specific genres and examples of songs we liked. Richard was extremely accommodating. The day of the ceremony and reception, he arrived on time and dressed perfectly for the occasion. Our ceremony was outdoors, and unfortunately we had some issues with wind. Richard was very accommodating and suggested a microphone setup that would minimize picking up wind for our officiant and speakers. He nailed the processional song, although it was a little hard to hear over the wind. He also suggested playing a recording of the recessional song instead of doing it acoustically which was a great suggestion. Overall the ceremony went off without a hitch. None of our guests complained about not being able to hear, and all of the microphones worked great off the bat. Due to the weather, we had to shift the cocktail hour indoors, which Richard was accommodated easily and professionally. He quickly put on an outdoor mix as well as an indoor mix. The volume was perfect and it did not overpower our conversations. Both mixes were spot on--the exact vibe we were going for. We both loved going inside and outside and recognizing songs or artists we put on our list. Richard was great with announcements. He introduced the bridal party without a hitch. He set us up to borrow the mic for a quick toast and thank you. His dinner mix was on point as well. He hit the exact mood we wanted. Again, the volume was perfect--just enough to be heard, but not hard to talk over. For dancing, Richard really nailed it. He kept the dance floor hopping the entire night. He did just an impeccable job shifting between various genres and moods without any awkward pauses or floor clearing songs. Richard played a great mix of older and newer songs, and each song just felt like it belonged. He worked in songs we wanted as well as classic ones we didn't know we wanted to dance to. We trusted him to put on a great show, and he absolutely did not let us down. Overall, Richard was great to work with. I have been to a lot of weddings and I mean A LOT! One of the most important things to my fiance and I for our wedding was the DJ. I am extremely happy to say that Richard is HANDS DOWN the best freaking DJ of all time. He was able to take our eclectic music tastes and make the most wonderful soundtrack to our wedding. We specifically wanted music playing from the moment the guests arrived to the final dance and Richard DELIVERED! Each moment of the wedding was beautifully underscored by Richard, who followed our wishes to a tee. We were so overwhelmed with wedding planning, we really didn't allot much time into researching for a dj. We feel so lucky to have found All Ears DJ and especially for getting Tanner to Dj and play acoustic at our ceremony and reception. Tanner was amazing!!! We gave him very little guidance and even made changes the day of... He ran with our requests and our entire wedding party had a blast! My husband and I are so happy that we hired Richard as a DJ and to play live music during our reception and cocktail hour. He was perfect and just what we were looking for. The music and dancing portion was probably the thing my husband and I cared the most about and Richard delivered flawlessly. Having him play guitar and sing during cocktail hour was such a perfect setting and he is extremely talented as a musician. The songs he picked were perfect for the setting and it was great to have live music. We also knew that we wanted the dancing portion of the evening to last more than 5 hours and Richard kept the party going and the energy up the entire time and played a great range of stuff, while also playing all of our requests. We hired Mike from All Ears DJ and couldn't have had a better experience. We had great conversations first with Richard and then with Mike about how we wanted our event to flow, and the execution was flawless (for context, we had 3 locations, only one of which was indoors, plus some live music). Mike played Brazilian music for our reception and dinner, and then a funk/soul/disco dance party that got everybody our on the floor. The music at weddings is always something that sticks with guests for a long time, so it was very important for us to have a good DJ for our wedding! Richard was an awesome DJ and MC. He played a good mix of songs and responded well to the feel of the crowd on the dance floor. The DJ booth was placed outside during the day (for background music and first dances) then was moved indoors for the rest of the night. There were zero issues and everything moved smoothly. Richard was our DJ and MC for our wedding this past April at Deer Park Villa. He was so easy to work with, super accommodating, and definitely knew how to throw a party. He partnered up with my wedding coordinator so that I didn't have to worry about a thing. We found All Ears DJ via The Knot and couldn’t be happier with our choice. They were one of the top rated DJs and won The Knot’s Best of Weddings for 2017.

For our wedding we worked with Richard in the Bay Area. We had a short ‘interview’ phone call to get to know each other than we signed the contract. Our biggest criteria was that the music flowed together and not have any breaks where everyone leaves the dance floor. The ceremony went smoothly and he was a natural at being the MC so everything flowed throughout the whole night. He is also a talented musician and we had him play sing and play acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour. Our guests loved the live music, it was a hit! Stevie and Heidi absolutely put our wedding over the top!!! We were looking for a DJ/Live Musician combination for our wedding to play at both the ceremony and reception and quite a few vendors joked to let us know when we found this “unicorn”. We are happy to say that we definitely did with All Ears! We used a combination of Stevie Cruz and Heidi Gluck and WOW … we could not have been happier! First of all, we have to thank Richard for chatting with us and pointing us in the direction of these two specifically, because they were exactly what we were looking for.

Heidi provided the instrumentals and vocals for our ceremony, as well as the first dance and sounded absolutely amazing! We had a few specific songs in mind that we wanted to use and she was flexible and willing to learn if she wasn’t familiar already. She also sent us a couple of recordings of her singing our first dance to both ensure that we were happy with her take on a Frank Sinatra classic (we’re telling you - this girl has talent!) and also to give us an opportunity to practice our first dance before the real thing!

I don’t even know where to start with Stevie so the first thing I’ll say is if you’re looking for a regular wedding DJ, keep looking because this guy is a professional (literally) and it was obvious to all of our guests! Stevie was so easy to communicate with and extremely responsive to any questions or thoughts that we had for him leading up to our wedding but that doesn’t begin to review his talent that was shown at our reception. Our goal was to have a packed dance floor all night with a reception that felt like a true party (sans those “normal” wedding reception songs you hear like the cupid shuffle, YMCA, electric slide, etc) and Stevie more than delivered! Our guests were all talking about his song choices, how he was mixing songs, and one of the jokes of the night to describe his talent was how he could even make the beat drop in Wonderwall. Don’t bother sending Stevie a playlist - he doesn’t need it and honestly chose better songs than we would’ve anyway. I wish I threw parties worthy of a DJ on a regular basis just to hang out with Stevie and enjoy his talent because I still can't really believe the party that took place on the dance floor of our wedding reception! He took our favorite genres and absolutely exceeded any expectations we could’ve had!

Richard was an amazing DJ and we could not have asked for anyone better. The live music he played before and during our ceremony was beautiful and everyone was raving about the reception music! He was so helpful in keeping the party flowing nicely and we got so many compliments on what a great job he did. At a lot of weddings it seems like there are only a few people dancing, and the music doesn't flow, but everyone was dancing the entire night at our wedding! Tanner is magical. We have very particular tastes in music and knew we'd also need to cater to all different audiences at our wedding. After our first conversation with Tanner, we knew he "got us" and handled it like a pro. He played guitar and sang for our ceremony and first dance, and it was one of the best decisions we made. He also killed it later in the night and all of our guests were dancing and having the best time and even mentioned to us later how much they loved the music. I honestly can't remember how I first found Richard - maybe Yelp or the Knot? When I started wedding planning last July, I started looking for our various vendors and got overwhelmed by all the options in the Bay Area. Once I connected and met with Richard, I knew right away that we'd be in excellent hands! He was professional but fun, and not one of those cheesy wedding DJ's I was wary of. For our playlist, aside from providing a few selected songs (i.e. first dance, walk out, etc) we really only had a few "don't play" songs, and otherwise left it up to him to feel out the crowd and the vibe on the dance floor, and he was amazing!! Tanner Walle played our ceremony and cocktail hour and Odiaka Gonzalez was on the tables for dinner, dancing, etc. Both of these guys are total pros who were really fun to work with leading up to and on the day of our wedding. Only exceptional events compel me to write reviews.  Last night, Alex Ward gave me a reason to do so.  Alex provided the music and emceeing for my son's wedding and he was amazing.  It is very hard to please a crowd of all ages, but he did so brilliantly.  Everyone raved about how fun the music choices were.  (He even graciously accommodated my request for a lot of Bowie :  ) He was also very courteous to the guests about their requests.  The dance floor was full from the first dance to the last.  I have been to many events and have never heard a better DJ.  Thanks so much, Alex! Alex Ward with All Ears DJ (Chicago) is simply amazing. I can't brag enough that we had the BEST DJ for our wedding. He was fantastic to work with and really listened/understood what we were looking for. He knew all the songs that would get people dancing, had a great flow of oldies, today's hits, and slow jams, and may sure to work in a few favorites. Our wedding would not have been as special without Richard from All Ears DJ. We were looking for a private musician to serenade us on our special intimate elopement wedding. Richard was the DJ for our wedding in San Francisco. We found his business through The Knot. He met us for drinks and to talk about our wedding a few months ahead of time, and let us know about the different options he has including additional lighting set up, etc. We decided he was the right guy for us pretty much on the spot. He has good taste in music, and understood that we didn't want to do anything other than our first dance and then bring all the guests on the floor to dance the night away. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of both contemporary and classics to draw on and really keep the mood and tempo up for dancing.I definitely recommend upgrading to include his lighting package. We went with the 8 pack of lights and it really brought the mood together on the dance floor. Richard also set up a second table with music for the cocktail reception and during dinner, and had equipment for giving toasts. No regrets from us at all. Richard Gintowt was exactly what we were looking for in a wedding singer/DJ. Easy to plan with, prompt on the day-of, and kind to both us and our guests. Our wedding was small (25 people) and we knew that Sunday brunch wasn't going to turn into a big dance party... we were much more focused on creating a meaningful and memorable ceremony, so we started out looking for wedding singers. We found one, and got a great DJ as well! We picked a processional song from his list, and Richard learned two other songs that were special to us, one for during our ring-warming ceremony, and one for our recessional. He was ready with every song we'd requested for the reception... and his choices for while we were eating were perfectly on-point... we had a sweetheart table and in the few quiet moments that my brand-new husband and I had 'alone' there together, I remember commenting that the background music was making me tear up again. ;) When a teen guest asked Richard later in the reception if he had any K-pop (which I'd actually not even heard of, as singer-songwriter music is much more my style) he responded enthusiastically and played her favorites. We had a couple of very minor communication hiccups that were irrelevant in the end: we couldn't have been happier with his services, his fees were very reasonable for the personalized service, and we highly recommend him both as a singer and as a DJ. We hired Alex to be our wedding DJ this past Saturday and the dace floor was on fire the entire night. We were on a tight budget for our wedding and it was between Alex and the ever popular Cage and Aquarium. We spoke with Alex on the phone and we felt like he had a real passion for what he does and understood that music was an incredibly important part of our wedding. He was willing to work with what we liked and didn't have an attitude like "I'm a professional DJ and I can read the crowd so I'll play what I want and I'm too good for your playlist". When we met with him a few weeks before our wedding he was genuinely enthused when I showed him a playlist I made to guide his music choices, and is honestly just a super nice dude. When it came to the day of, everything was perfect. He crushed the song choices outside of the list we had given him, and people kept coming up to me the entire night telling me how amazing the music was. We hired Richard for our wedding last weekend and it was one of the best decisions we had made. He is just so easy to be around plus he's experienced, professional and talented at what he does. He takes all of your music requests and puts his own spin on what he thinks will get the crowd on the dance floor. I will never forget our guests yelling "one more song" cause they didn't want the music to end! Richard also played acoustic guitar during our cocktail hour which was such a treat for us and our guests.
