All Day Family Care Behavioral Health

Among all the locations I could have gone to get my drug screen done, I decided to go to All Day Medical Care Clinic which offers services including primary care and family care, family medicine services, women's health services, men's health services, pediatric services, occupational health care services, and HIV/STD services. I'll admit that I had trouble finding the entrance. The back entrance started that the clinic is on the second floor. When you go up the stairs, it says that it is not an entrance but rather the entrance is around the corner off Westland Drive. I wish that there was a sign on the door to tell people where the clinic is located rather than climb up a set of stairs or two to find out it's not.This clinic accepts walk in appointments. When I arrived, I was greeted by the staff and asked if I was a new or existing patient. Since I was a new patient, they gave me a two-sided paperwork to fill out. I came here two weeks ago for a physical and it was a great experience. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Everyone gave me great care from the front desk to the MA. Best urgent care/primary care clinic I've been to. I took my daughter to get her ears pierced since I wanted it to be done professionally. The front desk staff were friendly, attentive, and welcoming. They immediately took me back to a nicley decorated kid's room and within couple of minutes, Dr. Kandaswamy came in to pierce my daughters ears for me. I was nervous since it was my daughter's first time but Dr. Kandaswamy was so good, clean and gently with her. Dr. Kandaswamy made the whole experience stress free for me and though my daughter cried for a bit, she played with her to calm her down. Stopped by Sunday morning and saw a fairly empty urgent care center (one patient before us).Injury was potentially a fracture on a repeatedly injured little toe. Was seen by LynnMay, FNP, who had excellent bedside manners and provided an order for X-ray and foot specialist, along with some standard discharge instructions for managing pain and swelling.Was impressed by the care and attentiveness offered by staff members. Despite it being a minor issue at the moment, Ms. LynnMay demonstrated genuine concern through foresight and believed in addressing the root of the issue. The medical staff did not make us feel rushed out the door, but instead offered solutions for preventative care down the road. I was very impressed with the staff - most especially the nurse/health attendant Fatima and the Manager Juliane. I needed a strep test. I discussed with Fatima the procedures to secure an accurate throat culture, my 'strep' history and anatomical quirks I have about getting an "accurate" sample. Fatima confirmed my questions and did an excellent job. All and all I was in and out I think in 45 minutes. It all started over a year ago when my mom came to visit me from Africa. She woke up one day not feeling good. We went to a pharmacy and took her blood pressure. It was unusually high. We decided to take her to All Day Medical Care because I had taken my kids there before and liked the results, and also because it was not too far from where we lived. She was then seen by Mrs. Solomon. Her kindness, caring, patience and loving touch amazed us all. She has everything a patient in distress would need in order to heal. She was thorough in her examination, ordered the lab work and tests she deemed adequate. When she received the results, she called our home herself after 9pm to share them with my mom. The following visits were as smooth as the first one. She managed my mom's healthcare all throughout her stay, making it very pleasant and comfortable. Mrs. Solomon is an angel on this earth. The weather has been pretty bad lately and I was surprised that this place was open during a snow storm, thank god. I had a high fever and a terrible cough and I thought I might be coming down with pneumonia or something. When I came in there the place was pretty empty and they had me filling out forms right away. I don't have insurance so I was getting a bit anxious but that's what a place like this is for I guess. After filling out the forms (there are like 3 sheets of forms you have to fill out) I waited for 10 more minutes and the doctor saw me. The room I was in was nothing special, pretty standard for a doctors office but at least it was clean. The doctor started by asking me questions about my symptoms and overall feelings. He took the standard heart beat test and listened to my lungs as I coughed. Next he told me that the only way to really verify that I didn't have pneumonia was to take an X-ray of my lungs. At this point I got worried again because like I said before, I don't have insurance. They ran me through the costs and it ended up being ok especially since it's my health. I don't skimp out on my dog's medical bills so why would I skimp out on mine. I had to wait for the X-ray person to get things ready. The x-ray room is at the back of the clinic and once again looked like a pretty standard doctor setup. It took about 10 minutes to do the X-ray process and another 15min for them to get the results. I went to the clinic with my 2year old son because of his coughing and fever. The staff was very friendly and polite. After filling out just a couple of forms it didn't take too long until we were seen. The provider was very helpful and patient. She suggested a X-Ray. It was great that we could do it right at the facility. After just about 30 Minutes we got the results back. She prescribed antibiotics and nebulizer treatments. We received a call back the next day asking me how my son was doing and if I have any questions. My son is now feeling back to normal and I am very thankful for the services we received. Very happy with the how they cared for my son. He was suffering from a terrible soar throat and could barely talk. They tested for strep but it came up negative but they noticed that his lymph nodes were very swollen which probably meant that he had some sort of infection. They prescribed him antibiotics and told him to get some rest and eat appropriately (cut out the junk). The antibiotics helped a lot and thankfully he is much better now. More...

Needed a regular physical for work and this place was perfect. I live near by and it took about an hour to get it all done. I needed to see a doctor so I went on Google to find walk in clinics that are close by. I decided to go with All Day Medical Care Clinic since it was the closet one by my house. Even as a new patient the staff was very friendly and welcoming (especially the front desk!). I filled out a few new patient forms and immediately after that I was taken in to a room to check my vital signs and then seen by a doctor. To my surprise the whole process was smooth and fast.
