Dr. Chi and his staff are great. I recently had my wisdom teeth removed and having a mild dental phobia I was pretty anxious about it. Dr. Chi assured me it would be easy and painless. I didn’t really believe him but it turns out he was right. I’m honestly astounded with how smoothly it went. The procedure was quick and afterwards there was almost no pain, the next day I felt like I would have been fine to have gone back to work if I had needed to. My wife even said she wished Dr. Chi had removed her wisdom teeth since her experience with a different dentist was not nearly as pleasant as mine. More...

I tried out Alki Family Dental due to the great location and convenience but learned after my first appointment that they are a triple threat  :)  They are amazing too!  Dr. Hanbit Chi cares about your teeth AND your overall health.  He takes time to make sure you understand how to brush and floss correctly and most importantly the WHY behind it. I opted to get all 4 wisdom teeth extracted while not being put out... only numbing. Dr. Hanbit Chi and his staff made me feel so comfortable. The appointment started at 1, and I was completely finished and scheduling my follow up appointment by 1:40. I have been coming here for two years and my experience with Dr. Chi and his team has been amazing! Everyone is very kind and attentive. I have come in for everything ranging from regular cleanings, fillings, crowns, and wisdom teeth extractions. I have never had any pain at all! I not only got a great cleaning today, I also got an in depth explanation about how damaging my electric toothbrush is and how important the pH of your mouth is to the health and strength of my teeth. Talented and gentle - Dr. Shupack is an excellent mercury- free dentist at Alki Dental, West Seattle! Great art by the doctor himself decorates the ceilings, so while you're sitting at the chair you enjoy the countless interpretation possibilities hidden in the colorful pieces.
