I am very happy I found Alison to be my nutritionist. So many of my questions regarding correct diet got answered!
We are dealing with 2 problems which in a way are opposite to each other. Alison did create me a great eating plan and also gave so many useful advices. Only after a month I could see the difference, my friends are noticing that I look better. Also, she is very understanding. Knowing that I am going on a holiday she offered me great swaps for my favourite alcohol drinks to make sure I enjoy my time!

I feel great and I would definitely recommend Alison's services. The last thing she would do is to make you not enjoy your journey to the changes. She will always find a great compromise if needed.

It's the best investment in myself I've ever done.

I have had the chance to work with Alison on my goal of loosing weight. It has been 7 years since I quit smoking, in which I ended up gaining almost 2 stone and I have never managed to loose any weight since quitting smoking. Alison managed to get me to loose almost a stone within four months. After a very detailed questionnaire that I had to fill in for her we had a consultation session where she explained what she believed I should do in order to achieve my goal. It didn’t feel at all like I sacrificed anything. She managed to educate me and made me understand what I should do or should avoid. It took me sometime to adjust my preferences to more healthy options, which I have done with Alison’s help.

I highly recommend Alison as she shows expertise in the nutritional industry.  I am confident she has the skill set necessary to handle any challenge. She is professional and at the same time her approach is very friendly which gives you the confidence and comfort you need to change your lifestyle and manage your weight. I now feel healthier and I will dare to say that I understand my body more. Thank you Alison!

5 star service. Alison was so friendly and made me feel at ease straight away.....which is difficult as I have a social phobia which has kept me in the house for ten years. She is very knowledgeable and intelligent and talked me through the whole process. It didn’t take long to decide she was the one for me! I would highly recommend her, I have a long road ahead to losing weight and healing my body and with Alison I feel like it is actually possible. After a mysterious pot bellied bloating kept coming and going, Ali put me on a strict detox for 3 days and then a month of clean eating. Whilst not entirely pleasant, I am still standing and haven’t had an instance of bloating back since. I know what to eat and what to skip, which is a god-send! Ali is a kind and detailed focused person who went well beyond what I expected and ploughed through research to rule out this and that, which made me feel genuinely cared for, and finally, listened to. I was very impressed with Alison's knowledge of her subject, but also the time and trouble she took to research and understand the conditions which trouble me. She has provided sensible, straightforward dietary guidelines for me to follow which started to show early results and have produced continued improvement. Her general advice on supplements (type, brand and dosage) and a specific natural treatment for my fingernail problem have been most efficacious. More...

I was sceptical at first, however aided by my wife and the excruciating pain my Rheumatoid Arthritis was causing in my joints I decided to give Nutritional Therapy a chance. Alison’s knowledge of the area instantly set me at ease, she helped me understand all the blood tests my GP had run, providing me with a detailed report, helping me to clearly understand what was happening within. Through our sessions and testing Alison figured out the trigger of my RA which she then helped me to rectify. My GP has approved my withdrawal from pharmaceutical drugs, I am pain and symptom free, my ‘beer belly’ has disappeared (something my wife is very grateful for!) and I now believe in the power of Nutritional Therapy. At my wit’s end and loosing faith in traditional medicine I turned to Nutritional Therapy. Alison’s “Hold my Hand” package was just what I needed. The saying you are what you eat has never been truer, you are quite literally what you eat. Your daily food choices directly effect your mood and wellbeing. Over 2000 years ago Hippocrates is famed for saying "Let food be thy medicine and medicine thy food". If we constantly bombard our bodies with a below par diet, we will eventually be left with a below par body. Your diet is your keep to optimum wellness. Life is not about going from one "diet" to another it's about changing your lifestyle to reflect the goals you wish to achieve.

I don't believe in "Miracle pills" and "fad-diets" I believe in finding the root cause of the problem and elevating all the symptoms. My job lets me help people, more often than not when people come to see me that have reached the bottom of the barrel, they have seen every specialist that there is followed every "diet" under the sun and still been unable to achieve optimum wellness. The thing I love the most about my job is that it allows be to re-educate people about nutrition and lifestyle and how to use it to achieve their health goals, I get to teach my clients how to help them self. I am honestly happiest when my clients no longer need to see me, when they feel confident enough not to need me having achieved their goals.

The world of nutrition has become a confusing and conflicting place, with may people and companies offering guaranteed results, miracle pills and quick fix's.

I don't believe in any of the above. I believe in getting to the bottom of the problem, I believe that everyone is different and because of this no two of my plans are ever the same. Every single plan is tailored specifically to the individule, its backed by scientific research, and delivered in bite size understandable chunks.

Working with me is a commitment to your own health and well being. Making the first step is always the hardest, however future you will thank you for making the commitment and working with me.


Getting Going. Marks the start of great things and includes: A minimum of four hours pre-inital session research into your symptoms and health concerns. One initial hour and a half session. Two, One hour follow up sessions. A detailed Health Optimisation Plan after each session. This plan covers all the information that we will have discussed in your sessions including; potential tests; supplements and lifestyle changes. Interpretation of any tests that are potentially ordered. Liaising with your other health care providers if necessary.

This is a bolt on to the 'Getting Going Package' A detailed 10 day diet plan, including what to eat, when to eat it and how much to eat and drink to aid with your health concern.

Over time I have come to appreciate that everyone needs different levels of guidance when it comes to making diet and lifestyle changes. Some people take to it like a duck to water while others simply need a little more support and coaching. Hold My Hand is a 3-month package that offers additional support, where information is fed in bite size weekly chunks this helps to keep you on track and accountable to your plan. Hold my hand includes: A minimum of four hours pre-inital session research into your symptoms and health concerns. One initial one and a half hour session. Eleven (one per week) follow up short telephone / skype chats. Every 4th week will last up to 45mins where we will go into detail. Weekly plan detailing your steps for the coming week. Weekly meal plan designed specifically for you, taking into account your goals, likes and dislikes as well as your work / life commitments. Interpretation of any tests that are potentially ordered. Liaising with your other health care providers if necessary.
