I recently worked with Alison at a wedding in Riverside, CA. My husband and I were photographing the event and we were so impressed with Alison! Not only did she help make the wedding beautiful by helping with all the design and styling elements, she was also very on top of everything from timeline to all the vendor coordination. We hired Alison as our DOC about 4 months before our wedding. The best part about Alison was that she really helped calm my mom and my nerves as the wedding grew closer and closer. Whenever we worried about anything at all that pertained to the wedding, we would call Alison and she would always make us feel better by giving us a detailed explanation how everything was going to happen. She helped us so much to the point that when our make up artist fell through, she did my makeup, my moms makeup, and all of my bridesmaids makeup! She was a real life savor and my make up looked great! She was very helpful at the dress rehearsal and kept my bridal party on task and helped us through practicing the ceremony. My wedding day was beautiful, and I'm sure Alison had to put out many fires that I just wasn't aware of, but I was never bothered by anything so I assume Alison was the one taking care of everything! I hired Alison as my DOC about 9 months before my wedding. From the beginning, she was straight forward and honest with what her services would entail. In the weeks before the wedding, Ali was informative, available, and easy to contact. On the day of the wedding, Ali made me so comfortable, to the point where I just assumed everything was in its place, which it was. She was on top of every single detail and extremely calm under pressure. During our reception, our electricity went out, but Ali was able to figure out a way to turn it back on before anyone even noticed, including me. My wedding was the first one that Alison coordinated, but it seemed as if she'd done it for years. She made sure to meet with me before the wedding to find out how I wanted everything to be set up and how the schedule would flow, and then she came up with a plan on making my vision a reality. She is a great leader and was able to delegate and organize all of the vendors and friends who were helping with set up and tear down in a very timely manner, while also getting involved in helping herself. If there ever was a little "hiccup" during the wedding, she was quick on her feet to solve it without bothering me. Everything ran extremely smoothly thanks to Alison.
