I am not sure where to even begin as I can not say enough amazing things about Alisha Khan Photography! From our first meeting, Alisha made me (a nervous bride) feel completely comfortable! She is easy going yet very on top of things and she means business. She knows exactly what she is talking about and is very efficient. A true professional! Our engagement photos were our first photos we took with her. As a couple not used to taking professional photos she helped us to feel relaxed and brought out our true colours! After our engagement session, my husband and I got along so well with her we ended up meeting up with her and her husband when we were in the Kelowna area (we are from Vancouver but got married in the Okanagan). Alisha assisted us not only with photography but with other wedding ideas and vendor suggestions as well. This was so helpful as we are from out of town. All of her suggestions turned out fabulous and I am so happy I trusted all of her recommendations. On the day of our wedding, Alisha was so helpful in organizing myself and my girls as well as making sure the morning was going according to schedule. She was fantastic all day and made those awkward family photos go so smoothly! I could go on and on about how spectacular she was but the real proof of this is in her work. When my husband and I received our wedding photos from Alisha we were truly overwhelmed. The photos turned out even more beautiful than we could have imagined! I have been emailing Alisha back and forth from Edmonton about my wedding. I met her in person at my cousin's wedding. i introduced myself to her that's when i met her in person. Like every brown wedding everything was delayed and it was amazing to see how patient she was. During my wedding time, i loved how she reminded everyone that it was my day, when things were getting out of hand. My wedding was delayed too but she made it work. What do I say about Alisha that hasn't already been said in previous reviews or isn't blindingly obvious by her raw talent if you've seen her pictures? When we started the wedding planning process photography wasn't at the top of our list. I had seen photos Alisha had taken previously and already had a connection with her so we knew that she was going to be our girl. Alisha went from "my friend Alisha" to professional, organized Alisha. Man was I blown away! She handles everything so effortlessly but as her fun, quirky self. When my husband and I started our search for a wedding photographer he mentioned that his "friends wife" was a photographer. I was a little hesitant about hiring a friends wife, but once he showed me Alisha's portfolio any doubts I had immediately dissolved. Her photos were creative, unique and absolutely gorgeous. Having Alisha be a part of our weddings experience was the best decision we could have made. She was easy to talk to, answered my questions quickly, gave advice to perfect our wedding day timeline and was there to ease my mind when needed. On the day of our wedding she captured all the shots I wanted, the ones I forgot to ask for, and documented all the love my husband and I share for one another and our daughter. Alisha was amazing....from the first contact I had with her on emails helping me make choices with the Resort for colors etc etc to the day she excitedly sent me a text saying my pictures were about to be email to me. ..she was so great! When she met with us before our wedding she wanted to know about our people...she ensured she knew the wedding party, our family and all our friends to make sure captured what was important to us. She had very creative ideas that I never would have even thought about, kept us cool, calm and collected on our big day! But most of all she is who she is....which is so fun (up for anything), sweet and genuinely just loves love and her job!....I think that makes up a huge part of her success as a wedding photographer. The second we met Alisha there was an instant connection. She really took the time to understand us and our vision for the wedding. She is the only photographer we met with because we knew right away she was perfect for our big day. I am so happy we listened to our gut. Alisha was not just our wedding photographer she became a friend. She has a way of making you feel so comfortable. You can tell she truly loves what she does. You can feel the passion in her work. She is very professional and she went above and beyond in every aspect for our wedding. It poured rain on our wedding day and she was so determined to still get all the shots we discussed.
