We contacted Ali to carry out a engagement photo-shoot with us. communication for Ali where always clear and professional with the information he required and when he was available.Meeting Ali on the day was simple and easy and from the moment we met we felt at ease and relaxed. Hire Ali Crawford! You won’t regret it. Ali agreed to shoot our wedding in Kenmore at short notice after we were let down by another independent. Ali arranged a meeting with us in Edinburgh just days later, travelling through from his home in Glasgow to discuss what we wanted. To us, this was an early indication of the professionalism Ali went on to demonstrate. He was very precise and thorough (we had to fill out a 5 page document!) to make sure he understood every last detail of what we wanted, our likes and dislikes and ideas of where we would like shots taken.On the big day Ali was unbelievable! He managed to get photos early in the morning of my wife getting hair and make-up done, then further shots back at the house getting ready with her bridesmaids. This is a good 40+ mile round trip. After that he drove another 16 miles to where myself and the groomsmen were staying and got photos of us before heading off to the church. The photos he captured here and of us signing the register are beautiful.After the ceremony we sent our guests on to the venue and Ali took us to a few locations he’d chosen for the best light, scenery etc. which tied in with what we’d initially asked for. The results look stunning! Back at the venue Ali captured some of the most heartwarming shots which we will treasure forever. It sounds awful, but apart from the obvious group shots we didn’t even notice he was there. Everything he did made us feel so relaxed and many of the photos he captured of our guests are just natural, beautiful moments which we can only assume were taken from a secret corner somewhere. Nothing was laboured or forced and the end result speaks for itself. Ali we cannot thank you enough for everything you have done, not just on the Wedding Day but in the weeks afterwards too. As you well know, it has been a tough few months since the wedding due to Sarah’s father Tom sadly passing away, but we want you to know that we are eternally grateful for the memories you’ve captured. Ali shot our wedding in June this year (sorry it took so long for the review pal, it been a year) and he was brilliant all day. He was in all the right places without ever being in the way. Ali was fantastic. He captured some incredible moments that we will treasure for our entire lives. Ali’s style is very honest, no heavy editing or distortion of the original image and I love that.
