I had my first session with Rachel yesterday! I’m so happy with how it went. She is so professional and so easy to talk to. Due to personal reasons I wasn’t able to attend an in office session, so we did a Zoom Meeting online. It’s so incredibly caring that she was able to accommodate my needs! After our session I felt so much “lighter”. I am looking forward to reaching the goals her and I made for “homework” this week. Rachel has created a warm, comforting, inviting space for her counselling sessions out at The Hive. You will feel right at home as soon as you settle into her quiet, cozy office, with sweet and gentle Alfred at your feet (if you choose to have him present for your sessions - and you should even though you don't have to, he's a doll and spending time with him is truly therapeutic). Rachel's compassionate and thoughtful demeanor are immediately apparent, and with her consistent support and non-judgemental approach she will put you at ease and soothe any nervousness you might have about sharing your life challenges. Finally, it means a lot that we have a counsellor offering services in London with a specific stated focus on inclusivity and access - two invisible barriers that mean so many folks can't get the help they need. I really appreciate Rachel's intention to serve EVERYONE who needs access to these services!
