Where do I start.  This guy is the BEST!   I came to Dr. Varipapa with a front tooth that was recently pulled.  My periodontist who peformed my dental implant said you want to go to Dr. Varipapa, he is the best.   I had just had my front tooth pulled an was already missing the next tooth and had an old bridge.  Every one of Dr. Varipapa's procedures were literally pain free.  He uses a top grade numbing that is so effective, you do not feel any pain from numbing needles and procedures.   Dr. Varipapa was personable, friendly, and genuinely interested in your long term dental goals.   I just interviewed for a new job and had my farewell happy hour at my current job.  I had so many people tell me that something was different. I was super confident and talking and smiling and laughing.  They realized it was my smile.   And I for the first time in 40 years realized it was my smile.  Dr.Varipapa is so personalbe I brought him in authentic green chile from hatch New Mexico.  He had already cooked with it and we exchanged recipes.  I just can not say enough. I recently moved from Southern Maryland to Alexandria and switched to Dr. Varipapa's office through a referral from my original dentist. Now I'll be honest, the actual "teeth cleaning" part of my appointment was fine (nothing amazing, probably 3.5 stars worthy), but it is a teeth cleaning, so how great can it be?  But the people are what make this office so great and make Dr. Varipapa's office 5 star worthy in my opinion.  And really, it's actually one person, Clarissa (who is probably the Office Manager, if I had to guess), who makes this dental office as wonderful as it is.  From the first time I called to deal with getting my old records to the new office to scheduling my appointment to dealing with insurance issues after the appointment, Clarissa has been nothing but happy/friendly/smiling/helpful and just wonderful.  She even walked me out of the office to give me walking directions (also a bonus - their office is walking distance from Braddock Road metro).  I also had to have Clarissa fill out numerous insurance forms and she has taken care of all of it efficiently and pleasantly.  It's completely unlike most doctor's offices I've had to deal with where you feel like you're inconveniencing them and you're almost scared to call/ask questions for fear you might bother them.Dr. Varipapa himself was also very friendly and chatted with me for about 5-10 minutes (since it was my first appointment) prior to doing the dental exam.All-in-all a great experience and I highly recommend them if you are looking for a new dentist. :) More...

I had a bad car accident when I was young and dentist that fixed my teeth back then did not do it right.  Until I found Charles Varipapa he made a huge change in my life.  My smile is now a whole lot more beautiful and it's increased my confidence to the next level.  Visit his website and see it to believe, just click on Nat ( Asian guy (it's me)  ).  You will see the before and after pictures.  Great thing about go to him is that he takes his time with you ( ONLY YOU ) and he makes them perfect.  It took me just a few visits to complete the whole thing.  I am very very happy with the result.   Moreover, staffs are very friendlly and office is very clean.If you are looking for  great new smile and great experience.  Just give him a call to schedule your consultation.  I bet you won't be disappointed.
