My 3 children (12, 10 and 7) have been attending Karate classes here for nearly 4 years and are brown belts. They are all involved in the squad classes and take part in competitions. My 10 year old daughter has now been attending Karate for 2.5yrs and she absolutely loves it. She has successfully reached brown belt and is now assisting in some classes. The staff/Sensei are all lovely and there is a great family spirit within the club. She is passionate and dedicated, so much so she dropped her other clubs just so she could increase her sessions within the academy. Now adding kickboxing to the list! My two boys and I attend the Kickboxing & Karate classes and love it so much that we would go everyday if we could. Lovely club to be a part of, with fantastic instructors, Sensei's Luke, Perry and Drew, and would recommend it to everyone.

Absolutely fantastic place, great for all ages. Has really helped to improve my general fitness and all round confidence. My son loves it, great to watch him improve with every belt he has obtained. The staff are all fantastic :)

My grandson id in the karate classes and I take part in the Sculpt classes. I thoroughly recommend the classes. I have wanted to fit for a long time but could not stick to anything, but theses classes are hard work but lots of fun with brilliant teachers

My son absolutely loves it here, if he could he would attend every day, the staff are helpful and friendly and I've found it to be a very relaxed environment for the parents, would highly recommend to any parent.

My 3yr daughter loved her two free karate sessions and we definitely will be signing up for two sessions a week. I have been part of the academy for 12 years; growing up with Sensei Alex Hart i can say most of my proudest accomplishments were made possible through karate. For this i am eternally grateful as the memories and skills gained from the academy will never be forgotten.
Martial arts with this academy has allowed me to travel all over Europe training and learning from the most famous athletes in the sport. I believe the mental discipline and self confidence taught to students is what sets this academy apart. By joining this academy, you become part of a martial arts family. Recently started my 3 year old in the dinky dudes classes. The classes are great fun and disciplined teaching him to follow instructions. He's even learning another language �. I am forever greatful to sensei Alex Hart and the inspiring people at kaizen karate academy. Over the years through hard work and nourtouring i was able to grow from a curious hyper active child into a focused athelete competing on a international level.
There is much to learn from the academy for young and old, lessons in the form of discipline, teamwork, strength, and mental focus. From these teachings i have since found them to be very beneficial in leading a happy, productive, and responsible life.

All that said, the best thing about the academy is most definitely its people. Over the years I was luckily enough to meet and train with lots of amazing people from all walks of life, all very friendly and very welcoming.
My experience as a student of kaizen karate academy was priceless, for anyone looking for fun, hardwork and growth, this is the place. More...

What an amazing place to take your children. my son has done karate and kickboxing and know doing thai kickboxing has got black belt in karate and black belt in kickboxing working on the next one he has been doing it for 8 years absolutely love it the instructors are fantastic and are ready to help you in anyway they can would recommend kaizen martial arts to anyone

My son Finley has absolutely blossomed at this Dojo especially under the fantastic Sensei Perry.
School says he struggles with focus and concentration, they should spend an evening watching him in one of Sensei Perry's sessions!!

My boy has been going here for about a year. He loves it! He's nearly five and recently was moved from the Dinky Dude (3-5 years) to the 5+ group. I signed up when they had a once per week option (£35-40 pm) which is ideal for me. Now i'm told that new sign ups ONLY have the minimum option for a twice a week membership which is £69 pm. I don't personally have the availability to take him twice a week so hopefully it never becomes an issue. Also at this age I want him doing a variety of things. Perhaps when he's 7-8 I'll consider a more dedicated membership. More...
