I had my wedding in April. From booking to, so far, receiving our pictures, Alan has been incredible. The great service still continues for us choosing our album pictures - which we can’t wait for (even though it’s going to be extremely difficult haha). We felt at ease straight away. During the day he captured everything we wanted and throughout the day you barely noticed a photographer was there!!! Mumsy also needs a mention. She was there for us girls during the morning with pins for our hair, sewing kits, ‘devices’ to make our dresses easier to put on etc. It was just amazing. They felt like part of the wedding party and it was an absolute pleasure to have them joining in the fun! The pictures? Well they speak for themselves. Flick through ANY of his weddings and you will see how unreal they are. They capture every emotion, fun and necessary moment as well as the bits you ‘forget’ about until you lay eyes on them again. We were married in July 2018. We could not have picked a more amazing photographer if we tried. From the moment we meet and booked you, you were kind, friendly and put us both at ease. I think we were the couple who had too many questions and you answered them all with a smile nothing was too big or too small. Including extra photographer for groom and pals getting ready. On the day of the wedding you turned up and mingled with my family and friends straight away. In both locations.My favourite moment is when Alan and mummsy were have making the tea and coffee while to hair chaos ensued. You took everything in your stride. We can not thank you enough for your attention to detail, honesty,great ideas ( drones over head) and for capturing “that moment” on the dance floor. Me and my wife used Alan last year for our wedding and we were absolutely delighted with his work. The initial meeting at Alan's home where we were made to feel welcome. Relaxed chat about what we were looking for. The pre wedding photo shoot was also great fun with our daughter. Alan's mum who helps him out is great aswell. They have a great working relationship. I cannot recommend Alan and His glamorous assistant Mumsey enough! They went above and beyond on what was An amazing but very difficult day for the family. I booked Alan for my wedding which took place in July 2016. I needed a photographer with a great personality who I felt would be able to control a large party of guests and a fairly large wedding party.

Alan arrived for bridal prep with mumsie and I have to say they are such a great team. They made us laugh so hard and put us at ease.

We had the most beautiful day and the weather was stunning and incredibly warm. I was struggling in the heat and Alan recognised this, spoke to our venue manager, moved dinner forward and then took us away after our meal for our individual pictures to allow me to cool down and get off my feet.

If I had to do it all again no doubt we would book Alan again.

Absolutely amazing!! As soon as we first met Alan and his mum Marion (mumsy) we knew we had chosen the best photographer for our wedding day. We all got on as soon as we met for pre wedding photo shoot both Alan and Marion put us at ease and were very easy to get on with we had lots of laughs and banter and amazing photos.

On our wedding day Alan and Marion we're amazing, very professional and made everyone feel so comfortable and were very efficient in making sure we got all our special photos of family and friends and we all had fun, bridal party and guests commented a lot on how great Alan and Mumsy were.

Honestly we have the most amazing wedding photos every special moment captured, and friends and family love them too, Memories we will treasure forever!! Honestly could not have had a better wedding photographer and assistant. It felt like they were just guests enjoying the special day with us.

We would highly recommend Alan 100% for sure, when we next need a photographer we will be contacting Alan.

What can I say, Alan and Marion captured the most wonderful wedding photographs for us on our special day. The posed photos are romantic, dramatic and beautiful but perhaps even more precious are the natural photographs they caught of us and our guests enjoying our day. The photos that they 'snapped' capture the fun, humour, sillyness, love and joy felt by everyone who shared the day with us, and I can't express just how much joy they bring us when we look back on all those special moments. Prior to our big day we had an Engagement Photoshoot, and I would highly recommend this service, practicing poses made it more natural on the day, and Alan and Marion really got a feel for our little family, capturing some really delightful shots of our little boys. From our first conversation we knew we had picked the right photographer for our wedding day. And on the day, he did not disappoint - he was even better than we imagined. We had a brilliant time and he really helped make our photographing experience (a part we were dreading) a really fun and memorable part of our day! We stressed to Alan that we did not want a militarian photographer – and Alan made doubly sure we did not have this experience by making everyone feel relaxed (he has this natural ability anyway due to his friendly nature). Alan was totally on top of the day and kept us to our timings to ensure all the family and friends photographs were captured on our rather extensive list! During the ceremony, cutting cake, speeches & our first dance, we didn’t even notice he was there taking photographs. He really helped make our wedding day an enjoyable experience! Working with Alan really helped to make our wedding day special. When we first went to meet him and discuss our options and prices, it was a friendly and casual experience. Me and my wife felt comfortable with him instantly. He welcomed us into his own home and he listened to what we wanted and arranged a package for us at a very fair price. Throughout the run up to our wedding Alan remained in contact with me for piece of mind and to insure everything was in place and all set for the big day. When the big day came Alan was on time, efficient and made things easy for us. It was clear he done his homework when it came to what shots to take at our venue considering it was one he had previously not visited but this didn't stop him taking quality shots and capturing amazing moments. When taking the pictures Alan made sure that we had fun with the shots and made it an enjoyable experience for us all. He captured some great natural pictures also when we weren't posing. When my wife and I received a copy of all our photos the quality was incredible and there where hundreds of images to pick from. When we did finally pick our photos the albums turned out gorgeous.
Overall I can't fault ASP in anyway, tremendous service from start to finish and nothing but quality! Professional yet relaxed and casual attitude that makes you feel at ease. Highly recommended!! 5 stars!! More...

Within being on the phone to Alan for 5 minutes I was pretty confident we were going to book for our wedding. He had the same ideas as we wanted and was a genuinely nice guy so that put me at ease. The photos on his website were exactly what we were looking for, and the package we got was so good,it was a no brainier.
We had an initial pre shoot which I can't recommend enough. I'm not great infront of a camera so it really gave us an opportunity to try things out but also get to know Alan and Marion (Mumsy) a bit better and removing any awkwardness on the day- not that there would've been any, they're both such lovely and warm people. The pre photo shoot gave us some amazing photos and the quality just confirmed we'd made the right choice.
I had Alan the full day of the wedding and from the moment him and mumsy arrived they were just fab! I never felt like it was hard work getting my photos done and they managed to get all the ones I'd asked for and then some! They were both so professional arranging everyone where they wanted them but were also just such fun on the day. They went above and beyond...with Mumsy having to be the official veil fixer and chasing it down the beach!
Getting the initial sneak peak photos was lovely and really helped keep the excitement there. Alan goes above with the personal touches, like the slideshow which Alan used one of our ceremony songs with- it made me cry- and providing the link to allow us to share the photos with family, as well as getting them on a USB!
The album itself is just stunning, and we've had so many compliments on it and the quality of the photos. Alan managed to capture the fact that we're quite a silly couple but also so many stunning photos which I didn't think was possible!
I can't recommend ASP enough- the professionalism is to such a high standard but they also ensure that you are comfortable and relaxed, and having fun with it! And the photos just speak for themselves! More...

I have used Alan as my first choice photographer to capture many special occasions. I first used Alan to photograph my wedding back in 2012.

I knew he was going to be the perfect choice from the moment we met, his personality, ideas and suggestions for locations were spot on and he was able to meet all my diva demands.

His professionalism was unrivaled, he had a pre-arranged list of all the people that had to be photographed and his wonderful assistant Marion (Mumsy) made sure that everyone was where they needed to be,she made sure everyone's outfits were just right and it was all seamless and was unobtrusive. As someone who does not particularly enjoy being the subject of photographs, both Alan and Marion made it relaxed and fun. The priest commented on how discreet he was during the service, I was amazed at the fabulous close ups he managed to capture of those special moments. Throughout the day he coordinated with our wedding planner to ensure that everything ran on time.

Promtly after the wedding I received some 'sneaky peeks' and a photograph that I was able to use immediately for my thank you cards. My initial reaction was just 'wow!'

The viewing of the photographs took place in Alan's home and I was amazed by his work. The tiny details had been photographed so beautifully and he managed to capture some of the most wonderful expressions of the wedding party and guests throughout the day. The products Alan could offer were something else, the quality of albums and products surpassed my expectations and were far superior to anything I had seen in my friends' wedding albums. I felt that I got excellent value for money.

More recently 2014 and 2015 I have used Alan to photograph my sons' Christenings. All I can say is that he keeps raising the bar. The quality and service was once again remarkable. The quality of the album was all I could speak about for weeks. It came from Italy and even the box that it came is was simply stunning and it showcased the wonderful memories that he captured.

If you are looking for a photographer for your special day, I wholeheartedly recommend ASP. I wouldn't consider any other photographer. You only get one chance to capture your wedding or christening so don't take a risk. You might see others out there a bit cheaper - but don't take a gamble for the sake of a few pounds. With Alan, his work speaks for itself. He is experienced and accredited by The Master Photographers Association. The quality of his products are exceptional. Alan photographed our wedding at the beginning of August, along with a little lovely help from his mum. We booked Alan for our Wedding photography in July. We are both delighted with the photo's, we couldn't have asked for better.
