Working in the events industry for 20 years I was very cautious when the venue recommend their preferred supplier to DJ at Warbrook House. Thoughts start going through your mind that they cut each other deals and it could be a disaster - How VERY wrong in this case. Alan and his son Ruadhan were EXCELLENT. They had a huge task on their hands as we had booked them late but did everything they could to make us reassured and were on hand when we asked questions on lights, speeches and the playlist. The party planners were very excited when we were given a login to a website where we could personally choose, from a huge library of songs, the 'must have' tunes to be played on the night - This was so much fun and every song you could want, including the latest releases and some golden oldies were all there to choose from. Once the guests were on the dancefloor Alan knew how to keep them on and kept the songs rolling. We also wanted to do a karaoke sing-a-long to a special song on the evening and Alan bought the instrumental version of the song set up the room with speakers and two microphones to accommodate this for us and we really appreciate him going the extra mile to personalise the event. Both Alan and Ruadhan were at the venue early setting up testing and making sure the lights and sound were spot on - how they did this without us noticing them is a testament to their professionalism. They were dressed to impress; smart, kind and smiley - the full package which is hard to come by. As soon as we met Alan and heard what he had to offer we knew that our day had to include him no matter what and we weren't disappointed. Alan, is a fantastic MC & DJ. We were so happy we had him for our wedding. He made us feel at ease and relaxed and we knew we could count on him to make sure our wedding went smoothly. Everybody loved our grand entrance and the quiz at the end of the wedding breakfast and the women especially loved the 'love story'. Everyone commented afterwards he was a fantastic dj who could sense the mood of the people on the dance floor. In summary we had a very relaxing and elegant wedding. Alan was absolutely fantastic throughout the planning process of our wedding. We were able to specify which songs we wanted to be played and at which point. The music database allowed us to pick songs that must be played, or play if possible with options to dedicate them to particular people if required. He was very flexible when our plans changed from needing a master of ceremonies to just a simple DJ. On the day, he just turned up and got on with playing music. Our venue was quite limiting in what was allowed to be used (no upllighting etc) but Alan had a really nice set of lights that gave the dance floor atmosphere and the sound quality was absolutely fantastic. He also mixed our requested songs together really nicely with some other songs to keep the party going all night long. Couldn't recommend more! More...

Alan made our wedding reception PERFECT! We got married in New York, so our guests missed out on our ceremony. Alan made our reception so special with our entrance including the bridal party and with our Love Story. We could not have asked for it to be any better. Alan was amazing from start to finish .... he took the stress out of the whole day which was amazeing ...... I don't think we could have done without him my sisters will be getting married in the next year and have both said Alan is essential . He is definatly worth the money ... Alan is one of the most genuine, professional and lovely suppliers that we had at our wedding! From the start Alan was always happy to provide us with any support or advice and helped us create the wedding we had always dreamed of! Nothing was ever too much to ask and our wedding went off without a hitch!Not only was Alan our master of ceremonies but also made sure that everything went smoothly and also provided the entertainment both in the day and the evening. The little touches really made a difference! Such as the quiz for the wedding breakfast, the advice cards that were read out after the speeches and the music during both the ceremony and the wedding breakfast. He kept us updated throughout the day and always kept us in the loop with how things were going. The evening music was fantastic and really easy to arrange using Alan's music database. From our first meeting with Alan, we knew we needed to book him for our wedding in June 2016. His experience and enthusiasm for weddings really is second to none and it filled us with such confidence knowing we had someone that could look after us and our guests on the day, so that we could just enjoy ourselves. In the weeks leading up to our wedding, Alan worked with us to make sure that all the little details were considered (many I hadn't even thought of!). His online playlist was easy to use and really helped to give Alan a feel for the type of music we like and on the day we certainly weren't disappointed - it was a brilliant mix and our guests really enjoyed getting involved by choosing songs. Quite simply, Alan and his son really made our day what it was. It felt like chaos at the venue before they arrived but once they were there, I felt a sense of calm and was able to hand over to their very capable hands. Much much more than a DJ & Master of Ceremonies, Alan was an absolute star and a genuinely nice person to work with. Friendly, professional and more than lived up to what he promised. Alan was amazing! from start to finish he made us feel comfortable and valued. He listened to what we wanted and tailored everything to meet our needs, ensuring we were happy with the specific music to suit our venue and the mood we wanted and going out his his way to make our day perfect. On the day of the wedding both he and his son were dressed imaculately, he made himself known to people and was friendly and approachable throughout. He also ensured throughout the day that we were enjoying ourselves, that any particular requests were played and that we were happy with timings of things.
Alan also made us think about things we would have otherwise missed, things like how did we want to do the cake cutting, the introductions, he ensured the guest book got signed and people filled out advice slips.
