I can't express enough thanks for the work that Andre did for me. My friend was getting married and needed a photographer. She decided to try Andre and was SO glad she did! She met up with him after shooting him an email and they talked about what sort of package she wanted. She wanted to be extra and opted to include videography since Andre had drone lol. After paying a deposit, him and his team showed up to the wedding and shot for the whole day--afterwards he had the photos and video ready for her in like 2 weeks! What can I say, Andre and his team are amazing. Best people to work with. Photography is probably the most important vendor that needs to be booked for any wedding. It's probably one of the only things you have to remember the day by. Andre will help you capture all the candid moments, and posed moments. The consultation with Andre was very nice. He is very professional, and will lay it all out on the table. You will know what to expect of him, and of course he would work with you to get what you want from the wedding. We also had our engagement photos by Andre. He was very creative and helped us pose for the shots. My husband and I are horrible at taking pictures. The photos turned out really nice though. Surprised that we could take a good picture. Day started off great, everyone arrived on time. They got right to work to get our "getting ready" photos. I so appreciated that no one was pushy about getting their shots in. I've worked with other photographers in other weddings, and man, they were so demanding, even rude at some points. Made me realize how calm and collected Andre and his team were. Everyone was so fun to work with throughout the day. Even helped relieve some of my stress because they were so fun. Here is my update since our wedding on 9/28/2013 - We weren't able to have Andre at our wedding as our photographer but he sent the best of his team! Alice was GREAT - she was not only a photographer for the day, but almost my 2nd wedding planner who helped remind me where I needed to be, and fixed my hair, and so on... The rest of the team - Raf & Lucas - were fun and sweet as well :) We have so many favorite pictures and I was so excited to share them with our friends and family.The ICING on the cake was James, our videographer also provided by Andre.. OMG. OUR VIDEO. IS. AMAZING. We've gotten so many compliments on it! This is my 100th review. I wanted to save it especially for Andre. Â That's how highly I think of him. How or where do I start with Andre. ..No matter how you call it, Andre is the real deal! I'm extremely happy with my photos. He's very adventurous and you will get one of a kind photos with Andre. Andre is super easy to get along with and to talk to. It seem like whatever ideas we had for our photos he would take it and run with it. He also goes out of his way to make things happen for you... like showing up at your house in the middle of the night to give you your photos. His teammates were funny and professional to work with too. I get the feeling like we own every place we go to take pictures because we were the center of attention at all times. I can go on and on about Andre but to in the end it'll just be the same outcome. The final verdict, I would recommend Andre to anyone. Not only were his photos top notch, his personality made things pleasant and comfortable throughout the whole experience. You won't regret picking Andre as your photographer. He and his team were amazingly awesome and fun to work with. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to look for when choosing our photographer for our engagement and wedding photos but I'm glad we chose Andre for the job. Andre is a perfectionist and definitely goes the extra mile to capture the moment. I was a bit nervous about taking our engagement picture because I didn't know what to expect but Andre made the day fun. Andre has the vision for capturing unique moments as long as you trust him and and are willing to take risks too. I loved how our photos came out at night with the use of his different lighting techniques. By the time our wedding ceremony and reception came around, we knew what to expect and felt at ease while working with Andre and his awesome team. Â It has been great working with Andre for the past several months. Photos are available for proofing online shortly after the photo shoot. Andre was incredibly helpful, patient, and fun to work with.If you've never had a photo shoot in your life and let alone engagement photos, realize that you need to pull off looking lovey dovey in front of a camera man and maybe an assistant. The idea might sound a bit awkward, but Andre is so fun and personable that you forget that you're even taking photos. We had our engagement photo shoot in our hometown of San Jose. San Jose isn't known for having the best scenery, but the places we did take pictures looked like we were in a DREAM world. I don't know how he did it, but he was able to capture us in our world, but make it and us look AWESOME. You honestly can't ask for more than that, especially when it comes to your engagement/wedding photos.As for the church photos, I was surprised that they came out clear and bright although the church lighting was a bit dim, and the church policy was no flash photography.Tip: Make sure you enjoy your time taking photos. What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Aside from composition, or having a "good eye," there are 3 real secrets to taking a great photograph:
1) Patience - Waiting for that perfect moment before taking the shot. Quality over quantity (it helps to tell a better story).
2) Connection - When establishing a connection with the subject, it helps to make them look more natural in the photos as well as build trust.
3) Direction - A good photographer will provide the subject direction to make that shot perfect.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I started out photographing dance as it was a passion of mine. Shortly after, people saw my work and began asking if I can take pictures for their weddings. I was hesitant at first but the more events I did, I realized it became something bigger and more meaningful to me. I love connecting with people and have a pretty competitive nature for learning and with a background in business management, starting this business seemed inevitable.
