I like the atmosphere, the friendly staff, and I definitely appreciate the fresh cooked food. I would prefer that they used less salt in their food, however. Salt can always be added at the table, depending on an individual's preference so there's no need for it to be salty when served. Otherwise everything is wonderful. More...

The Akbar Palace Restaurant is far from being your Typical Indian restaurant, if you love ''great food'' this is the place to go. They have a Lunch Buffet to die for, from Tuesday through Friday 11:30 - 2:30. There are a plethora food choices on the Buffet. The food is over the rainbow good. The owner is always attentive to his customers, he wants you to be happy. You are treated like family while dining at the Akbar. Their customer service is beyond reproach. Today was my first time dining at Akbar Palace and I must say I love the place. The staff is very attentive and even with a dining room full of people you are noticed. The owners stopped by my table to thank us for coming and to make sure everything was okay. The food was very tasty and authentic, as if it were made in an Indian's home kitchen. The price wasn't bad at all for the amount of great quality food I received. I will surely be back. Maybe next time I'll try the buffet, but that vindaloo (lamb and potatoes with some spicy sauce) was to live for! More...

AP catered an event last evening at Newton White Mansion for MNCPPC's Asian Heritage program and the food was FANTASTIC!
