Arran completed a stage 1 gloss enhancing polish on my 595 and did a fantastic job. I thoroughly recommend having your car detailed by Arran.

Arran had several high end detailing and cleaning products and demonstrated extensive and comparative knowledge of each. We discussed what was the intended outcome and how to achieve this prior to getting to work on the car. Following a visual inspection of the car and options explained, I preferred the choice of protection and in particular lasting protection and ease of future cleans, rather than the 'show shine' direction. Additionally mine being a white car, it was filthy!

As this was the first proper clean after collecting it from the dealers, Arran suggested a decent contamination stage, including a pre-wash stage and a decent wheel clean, with tar and fall out remover, followed by a suitable wheel cleaner, bug remover, 2 stages of snow foam (which was wax free) to thoroughly clean off surface dirt and loosen off chemicals and grime collected in transport. Following this Arran used a clay bar of varying compounds to remove stubborn bits of tar / imperfections that had been sealed on from the dealer prep. The car was again rinsed and then very thoroughly and carefully cleaned using high end mits and microfibre cloths.

After drying the car by hand and having an additional inspection of the paint, it appeared the paint was in fairly good condition (as it's only 2 months old!), however that there were light swirl marks and a general dullness to the paint. Arran tested a polish and assessed compound choice before starting a all over stage 1 polish. The difference was huge, the white paint cleared up massively (I could see an element of colour in the white I'd not seen before) alongside a nice mirror like reflection without light bouncing off the light swirls.

The car was the rinsed and dried again before applying a decent wax, which was aimed more at sealing and durability again. The wax used ideally would make future top up washes easier and help keep the paint protected against muck on the roads (due to excessive rain at the moment!).

The wheels were then dried and sealed, alongside dressings applied to the plastics, seals cleaned and sealed and windows cleaned and protected.

Sorry Arran, if I've forgotten a stage or work completed! However, I throughly recommend getting your car detailed by Arran, he did an excellent job and looked after the car like it was his own! So much so, 2 of my neighbours booked in with him after watching him work!

Arran carried out single stage enhancements on our 2 New Cars that had dealer imperfections along with some dodgy hand car wash swirls and some marks from an ice scraper.
Very impressed with the attention to detail and the time Arran took to explain and show me what he was correcting, the before and afters are incredible and they look better than they left the showroom. Will 100% continue to use Arran for regular maintenance cleans. 5* More...
