Being married already, we didn't want to go through the stress and anxiety of planning another "wedding" just for a vow renewal. Especially since we only wanted an intimate ceremony and photography. Other wedding planning vendors were either too cookie cutter or couldn't customize their packages. Working with Ajja/Elope Maui was exactly the opposite. Her portfolio is filled with photos of couples in stunning scenery and beautiful, candid moments. She also handled all of the planning, from day of schedule, location (with input from you), and makeup artist/stylist. Rest assured that even though there are no hair/makeup trials or florist consultations, you are in safe hands. I was blown away by everything! This is going to be a long review, but I just have to truly express my gratitude for the incredible services provided by Ajja. From Day 1 Ajja was extremely helpful. My husband and I were planning an elopement – just the 2 of us, and had no idea where to start. I sent Ajja numerous emails about what we should do, what to expect, attire, etc. Ajja provided us with lots of details and links to websites that we would find helpful. I was super nervous and had no idea how to plan anything, and I’m so happy that Ajja did all the work we needed.After we picked the package and were settled in Maui, we received the marriage license and prepared for our big day! Everything on that day just felt like an absolute miracle… from beginning to end. For starters, just before the ceremony it started to rain, but quickly subsided in around 10-15 minutes just before the ceremony. I believe that rain before a wedding are little blessings, and it just made me feel so comfortable and happy. We had a seat in Ajja’s car while it was raining, and she was just so lovely – it was as if we were having a conversation with one of our best friends =). Also, a rainbow came out shortly after, and it was soooooo beautiful and we didn’t expect something like this to happen. It’s not often that you get see rainbow on your wedding day, so this was just an even more added touch to something beautiful. . On top of all of those little miracles, a cute dog decided to come by and say “hi” to us during the ceremony! It totally made me smile, my husband and I LOVE dogs, so it was as if our wedding was from a fairy tale (we both cannot stop talking about what happened, and wanted to take him home!). I have told a few people of what happened during our wedding (from start to finish), and they didn’t believe me until they saw the pictures, and were stunned that all of these things happened during our ceremony ! Ajja made sure to get photos of us with the rainbow in the background, with the adorable dog, by the trees, etc…and these are by far the most beautiful pictures I have EVER seen in my life (without exaggeration). I had researched the best wedding photographers in Maui, and Ajja Photography was the first on the list – and I can DEFINITELY see why. She took care of everything, from arranging the officiant to Oneuli beach, marriage license consultation, and just making our special day so memorable. My husband has also shown off all these pictures to his colleagues, and I have as well! People are asking me who my photographer was because they wanted to hire Ajja as well, but unfortunately they couldn’t when they realized she’s in Maui! Lol.I just wanted to say THANK YOU SO MUCH for making our day so special! I believe all these miracles occurred because of her, and I will never forget this . Ajja was incredible throughout this entire process! She communicated very well with us both before and after the wedding, listened to what we wanted out of the experience and had plenty of ideas to make it happen. Words cannot describe how amazing my wedding was thanks to Ajja! We started planning our elopement about 6 months ahead of time. I was shopping around for elopement services in Maui and naturally fell upon "Elope Maui" with a quick google search. I spoke to a number of services on the island but had a feeling Elope Maui would end up being my choice. We knew it was a right fit for a number of reasons. Number one being the ease of process. Ajja did EVERYTHING. Literally. Our job was just to show up with a marriage license. With a flat fee, Ajja planned hair, makeup, flowers, itinerary, efficient, + her own photography bundled in. It doesn't get easier than that! Mix that with Ajja's skills as a photographer. She's committed to getting the best location and lighting, which is what makes her unique among her peers. When we initially spoke, I expressed we weren't really "beach people." Considering the location being in Maui, it was so refreshing for her to be on the same page. We landed on a forest "first look" location and a sunset ceremony in the cliffs. Day of went off without a hitch and that's when Ajja's skills really put on a show! As a photographer and wedding coordinator, Ajja made us feel relaxed and present, with no stress. She paid close attention to us when we were posing and gave really useful advice for making us look our best in photos. She was never invasive or took away from any moment. She did a great job at taking advantage of lighting, backdrops, etc. Even if it meant getting "just one more." That paid off when by the end of the night, we were tired and hungry. She asked us to stop two more times, once for a gorgeous, starry silhouette photo and once to get us posed with our camper van. Even as hanger was taking over, Ajja made it quick and assured us we'd want these photos. Of course, she was right, and the very last photo we took that day now is our favorite. We received a "preview" within a week and the rest of our photos about a month after that. We can't thank Ajja and her team enough for such a phenomenal day. It's not an easy decision to elope, but doing it with Ajja and Elope Maui was the easiest decision we made! More...

We were looking to elope and have a beach wedding. We found so much more with Ajja! It was an absolutely incredible experience! I am so thankful we found her! We had a beautiful wedding day spent in Maui. Ajja took us to several locations to enjoy the greenery and beauty of Maui and photograph our love for each other. We had waterfall photos, banyan tree photos and ended finding a location for our wedding vows that was unique for us. We were on the volcanic rock and surrounded by the crashing ocean. The people Ajja works with were incredible as well. We loved the videographer and his suggestions as well as the Officiant, Hair and make-up artist! It was truly everything that we had hoped for and more! We just received the photos back this weekend and I am absolutely thrilled with all of the moments and landscape shots with us that she captured. Our elopement in Maui with Ajja and @elopemaui was truly magical! Every vendor Ajja works with is amazing! My flowers were gorgeous from @thefloralette, my makeup and hair was beautiful from @ameliahairandmakeup, and Kale made the ceremony so special. Best decision that I made in Maui was to pick this team for our ceremony. Ajja and Kale are no doubt the best on Maui (my opinion)! Ajja handled every detail from recommending sites, arranging for hair and makeup, video and flowers. She is much more than a photographer who happens to do a few extras. She is professional and thorough top to bottom. The photography speaks for itself. Amazing. I will use Ajja anytime I need Maui photos. We decided to elope as, for us, the prospect of planning a traditional wedding was too daunting/ stressful/ time-consuming and neither of us wanted that! I can't recommend Ajja enough!! Our elopement was the greatest day of my life! The photos are stunning of course but the memories they capture are my favourite :) She even pulled out my all time favourite treat as a surprise after the ceremony to celebrate. Ajja doesn't just capture photos, she captures your soul. She will take the time to understand who you are and transfer that reality to an image. Her love of the land and love for love is so transparent in all she does. She was so supportive of everything my husband and I wanted to bring to our day, and helped us bring all our ideation into creation. Along with her, we were blessed with Mike who produced one of the most stellar wedding films I've ever seen. The cinematography, artistic style, and editing are off the charts. I still can't believe it was us in the film. Of course there's was also Euta, our Kahu, who is basically the Morgan Freeman of ceremony. The serenity and confidence in which his voice guided our day is indescribable. I can't forget the florals from Wildheart, absolutely gorgeous, wild & free arrangements.
