Disaster, I only gave one star because I couldn't give less. I was contacted by Danny Preece of AJ Home Improvements with a view to paving my front garden. Whilst digging they damaged the water companies stop tap chamber and work stopped whilst the water company repaired it, 3 weeks later. The water co asked AJ Home Improvements to pay for the work, AJ claimed on their website that they were fully insured. However at this point AJ refused to return and finish the work making various excuses. Eventually when I asked for the return of my deposit they disappeared! I can find no registered address for them and the water co are now asking me for payment for the repair of their equipment. I guess I was naive and thought that because I found them on a 'traders' website that they would be honest. I now know better. More...
