Overall the work they did was satisfactory but other companies have been tidier and did not leave petrol residue on my driveway! Also he decided to stand on my garden box to cut a tree rather than use ladders. When challenged he told me that the garden box had a ‘small hole’ in from the tree he had cut down. I get it, damage occurs, but the hole isn’t that small which I found when I checked later that night, and when challenged about repair I have had no reply. No surprise to the lack of response, but I would expect honesty without being prompted to tell me about damage whilst at my property and also a reply to my message. Not even an apology. His work did the job for this year (tidying my hedges) but won’t use again and wouldn’t recommend. I used Redwood last year who were no more expensive and a lot better workmanship - it’s not always a case of you get what you pay for. More...

Recently used A J gardens to remove a massive conifer hedge at the front of our property. Reasonable price and the lads did a great job and cleaned up after them. Great job can thoroughly recommend

A j garden maintenance has just replaced garden fence that had blown down for me and has done a really good job.
The new fence looks good and is more substantial than the old fence and was done at very short notice.
