Hot Dogs, Vienna All Beef Hot Dogs. If you have been having a hard time finding a decent all beef hot in the OC-Irvine Area, you might want to check this place out. For a fair price, they have "Vienna All Beef" Hot Dogs served on a Vienna Poppy Seed Hot Dog Bun. I had the Chile Dog, you may want to leave off their chipotle aioli sauce (I thought it took away from good taste of the Chile) I know that I will do that when I go back again. I also heard that they serve a really good Chicago Beef sandwich (I am assuming that it is also from Vienna Beef Co from Chicago) I also liked their thick natural french fries, pretty tasty too. Rounding up from 4.5.I used to live in Chicago and since moving to California, I've been wanting authentic Chicago foods.This place is in an unassuming location with plenty of parking . It's almost like a food court area, where you order at the counter and wait for the food to come out.The Italian beef was the best I've found in SoCal. Yes, better than Portillos. I've been to a couple of other so called Chicago style restaurants and they have been a complete let down. I just loved how it all tasted together, flavor wise. I asked for spicy and sweet peppers. The price point is fair, they use quality ingredients. The best is having the 10% off discount when checking in.The only reason why this wasn't a 5 star review was because of the aioli fries. This place is near my work! I got a citrus grilled shrimp plate for lunch and really liked it! It is easy to miss because it is located inside a food court at the corner of the plaza (I totally missed it and went in a circle LOL). The shrimps were HUGE and so flavorful. I wasnt a huge fan of the texture of the basil rice since it is super mushy, however, the flavoring was buttery and good! Had dinner, pie, and then breakfast and coffee the next morning. The food was fantastic! The apple pie was amazing. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee was better than anything a certain green mermaid produces. I'd go back there in a heartbeat!

I have reached nirvana in Irvine. Was in town on business and was looking for a nearby lunch spot. To my surprise I stumbled upon Aioli and noticed that they made Italian beef. I knew I had to try it out. As a native Chicagoan and beef lover, I can tell that the beef/sausage combo was AMAZING. After my first bite I believe my eyes rolled to the back of my head. This place is actually located inside a food court in a small strip mall. I ordered the Citrus Grilled Shrimp and the shrimp tasted great. I really enjoyed the seasonings they used to give it a lot of flavor. It also came with an abundance of grilled veggies and a delicious basil aioli. Stumbled on this place today (thanks Yelp) and was pleasantly surprised. I'm from Chicago so Italian Beef is kind of a big deal for my family, and this place makes a pretty decent one! The roll was great, soft & chewy, the beef was very tender and generously piled on. The "gravy" (I always think of it as broth) was a little too salty for my taste but otherwise the flavor was pretty good. My sweet peppers seemed a little bitter/strong, somehow. That could just have been the pepper itself, though, not necessarily the preparation of them. Peppers can get weird sometimes. I also got aioli fries which were tasty. Those sandwich and the fries together were a lot of food, might have fed two people, actually. I barely dented the fries and I am stuffed. Those two items, with a teensy weensy soda, were about $10 and I thought the price was quite reasonable, given the quantity and quality of the food. I would definitely visit this spot again. I am lucky enough to work within walking distance of Aioli. Rain or Shine I can always count on Jordon and his staff for a great meal. The food is always fresh and full of flavor. I particularly love his fries. Perfect thickness and never over salted. They also have a catering side, which our company has used and loved. The amount of selection you get with Aioli is amazing. With the amount of different dishes Jordon puts together and that the quality never suffers, says a lot about how much they care about the food they make. Don't let the location fool you, this place has really good food especially for the price. It fancies itself a Chicago style sandwich shop but it's much more that that. Their burgers are outstanding!! No place like this even comes close. The salads are out of this world and the aioli bowl and chicken and shrimp plates are great as well. The service isn't the fastest but everything is made to order. And don't expect to be here at 11:00 on the dot and see them open, I always try to give them 10 or so minutes to open up. First visit in years as I no longer work nearby. I knew this place years ago when it was known as Chicago's Best, and it introduced me to the Italian Beef sandwich. Same guy working there as before, I think he is the owner, and it was just rebranded with a new name.I ordered the Italian beef sandwich with sweet peppers, along with their fries, and everything was as good as I remembered from years ago. Sandwich is generously dipped with au jus, and it is just as messy to eat as in the past. I love their fries, too, which is very similar in style to the fries at Five Guys Burgers but without that seasoned salt.I'm always looking for good options for Italian beef sandwiches, but haven't found any in south OC where I now work. Aioli is just a few minutes from work. I hate to admit that I eat quite a lot of fast food, but when I'm feeling like a burger and I'm craving a little more quality, Aioli is the spot. I'm not sure how big the rest of their portions are, but the burgers are 1/2 pounders. If you wanna keep your meal light, you're gonna wanna get something else. The meat is tender and oozing with flavor. I usually sub my bun for their ciabatta. Their fries are thicker cut and damn good. They are only open for lunch hours, so keep that in mind. Today was just a another day of good food including good service I failed to notice I gave Aioli 4 star but everything about there food is great. I put down another Italian Beef and it's perfect as usual. My suggestion is get some extra dipping juice on the side and don't forget to include peppers which I like both spicy and sweet just adds more flavor. I encouraged a friend to join me for lunch and he had the same thing and was blown away with all the flavors. At this point I've only had about 4 dishes but all 4 are always cooked just perfectly. So I'm going with 4 stars but the experience was not 4 stars. I'm also not counting the meh condition of the food court. That's out of their control and you can always get the food to go.Food, wow, definitely 5 stars for the prices they charge. Everything looks and tastes great. I had the chicken marsala and I would highly recommend it. I almost didn't go because my co-worker said it was a great burger place. Just what we need, more burgers. But I'm glad I went because I would not call this a burger joint.Service is definitely 3 stars. The person at the counter may have just had a bad day but he definitely had the "eh, whatever" vibe. I know people don't like to be oversold but asking if I want something to drink is not overselling. Sometimes a meal includes a drink, sometimes it doesn't. (+1) Service: Very attentive and i liked that the server had a smile on. I almost ordered the Greek food next door but was a little put off at how inattentive the server was. She wasn't standing in front of us and was busy packaging food; even after she asked if we were ready and we said yes, she still stood where the food was being packaged as opposed to where the cash register is and seemed to be looking elsewhere. (+1) Price: I'm stuff right now writing this review so for the price, about $8.50 for the Aioli Bowl, I'd say it was worth it! (+1) Food: This review is based solely on the Aioli Bowl. This review is based purely on the Italian Beef.I have to honestly say that I've only had Portillos in Chicago so I'm not a Italian Beef expert. The Italian Beef came out super hot on a soft roll with tons of finely sliced premium beef that's super moist. For the size and price it's a gem amongst the other places in this food court. I've been coming here for years (even back when it was called Chicago's Best). I'm a Chicago transplant and Italian Beef sandwiches are one of my "comfort foods". So it's always exciting to find something that truly represents what I grew up on. The Italian Beef here is authentic. The hot giardinera is as well. Overall it's not the best Italian Beef I've had, as in general the actual meat in the sandwich isn't as good as some of my absolute go-to restaurants in Chicago. But it's the best I've had so far in California (and IMHO better than Portillo's). And it's served properly, the whole sandwich dipped in the jus so the [delicious] bread soaks up the flavor.The fries are outstanding. Thick cut, but with a good crispy exterior and well-seasoned without being over-seasoned. All in all, 4 stars as the Beef is authentic but not outstanding compared to what I've had in Chicago, but the hours of operation basically ensure that I can only get here for lunch on weekdays. Driving past and decided to stop here. It's a small place in a local food court BUT, The food is soooo GOOD. I couldn't decide what to try because everything looked very tasty. I just started a new job close by and was able to go here for lunch. Like other reviews, don't be fooled by the unassuming food court. What made this place stand out initially was how hard the girl at the register was working. It was lunch hour and busy with customers and phone calls and she was working as hard as possible WHILE being incredibly pleasant, so thanks to her! The food was delicious. What’s your signature dish?
I think my signature dish is what got me started in the cooking business. I was 12 years old and after being at a restaurant in Waikiki called Hy's steakhouse, I watched them make bananas foster. Several months later I tried making it without any recipe but just my memory from watching them at the restaurant. Once me and my mom tried it I knew I had a talent for cooking. As a teenager I started getting asked to make it at parties we were invited to. Banana's Foster was my thing.
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I take into account their budget, taste, theme and also the functionality of the food for the event location itself.
What do you love most about your job?
People love to eat, I love to eat and I can give people what they love!
What inspired you to start your own business?
My dad had a restaurant when I was younger. I worked in it a lot and learned things about the business. Once I turned 18 and was graduated from high school I decided I didn't want to do anymore schooling, as I couldn't stand school in the first place. I definitely had a passion for food and cooking by this time. I needed to decide what my career was going to be quickly. My dad no longer had his restaurant but had long been in the construction business. Food and construction were the two things I grew up around. Construction frustrated me too much, so food it was.
Why should our clients choose you?
There are a lot of really big and successful catering companies in our area but a business like that does not give you the personal touch and access to the chef and owner of the business. I work directly with every catering event that I do. I am also reachable at all times of the day whereas other companies can only be reached during business hours.
