Absolutely perfect newborn session & newborn family session. Aimee is so good with babies and toddlers- she kept our twins peacefully asleep during their individual photos and then when our big siblings came in, she was patient and kind despite them being wild animals! ! (boys!!) Her wardrobe for children and mothers is incredible and there's something for everyone's style. Her restroom had nursing pads and feminine hygiene pads- perfect for new moms and such a caring touch. Aimee did an amazing job with my newborn AND three other kids (ages 6, 5 and 3). She was so calm and new exactly how to respond in every situation. She never made us feel rushed and even included my parents for grandparent photos. She accommodated every request I had without hesitation. She helped me with outfits for everyone and had so many options for myself and my newborn daughter.I’ve done newborn photos four times now and she has by far provided the BEST final product and overall experience. Aimee did a maternity shoot for me and I couldn't be happier! She recommended a team for professional hair and makeup (a first for me) and she has a wardrobe of maternity gowns to choose from. I felt like such a princess! The actual shoot was very relaxed and fun, even my husband enjoyed it (he hates professional photos). After almost 5 years, we finally decided to invest in some family pictures. She totally exceeded our expectations! Easy to work with from start to finish. And let me tell you the BEST reason to book with her...she has a CLIENT WARDROBE!!! Which means for mama and baby/child, you don’t have to go searching for an outfit all over town! Aimee did our family pictures and we could not be more happy. We had to reschedule into the Spring because I had sick kids in the fall - and she was more than happy to work with me on rescheduling. She was flexible with the location of the shoot, and editing and delivery of the pictures was timely. She responds fast to all emails and texts. She provides you with a wardrobe (Moms and some kids) and helped me coordinate my husbands and kids outfits. Aimee is WONDERFUL! We had our newborn photos done at our house and she organized and directed everything perfectly. We have two dogs and she was able to get them positioned and look at the camera! The magical intersection of love + laughter + light = Aimee Hamilton Photography! This summer we welcomed our second baby and I did something I absolutely knew I wanted with our son - which we didn’t quite know to do with our daughter three years ago: a Fresh 48 photography session. Mamas and daddies: I cannot recommend this enough!In our Fresh 48, Aimee was responsive and helpful on scheduling and came right to our hospital room on day two of our son’s life to capture the beautiful, fleeting details of the very beginning of life for a newborn, plus unforgettable shots of what our newly minted family of four looks like all together. Aimee’s warmth in her personality and her eye for capturing the perfect light instantly made our session feel so cozy and intimate. Aimee kindly helped me with fashion decisions and was so in tune with every detail from the perfect angles to small tweaks to let the extraneous background pieces fade away so that fresh baby + smitten family shined the most. A mom herself, Aimee interacted as a loving force with our toddler to allow for organic moments to be captured...our toddler can get silly when a lens is out sometimes but not with Aimee’s direction! More than anything, Aimee truly understood the dynamics at the heart of our session - the emotional closeness of a certain grandparent, the meaningful magnitude of particular baby accessories, the way this rainbow baby completed our family after the storms of loss. Aimee is phenomenal and her photos are amazing!! She took photos of our newborn son and was very patient with both him and us. The photos were PERFECT! I would normally not say that but it is the only word to describe them. She took her time and got some unreal photos. We have never received so many complements on photos until we started using Aimee! Aimee recently took our family photos on the beach. Right from the day I booked with her, she was easy to talk to, and gave very quick responses. She helped me with giving opinions on outfits and colors. A few days prior to our session she sent detailed emails regarding the location and directions on how to get there. My husband and I drove from The Heights to Aimee's studio so we were a bit anxious as we are first time parents. (45 min. drive) Our baby girl was 2 weeks old and we had not traveled or been out of the house too much yet . When we arrived her studio was a nice casual, warm space and since our babe was pretty fussy when we arrived we were able to imediately make ourselves comfortable and breastfeed/change diaper on a comfy sofa. Once her client who was there before us was finished and left we went upstairs and were able to relax on another comfy sofa and begin our shoot. Aimee held our babe and prepped her for her shoot while also very patiently soothing her to sleep. She sat on a an exercise ball to softly bounce her while changing into her 3 cocoon style stretchy wraps for the photos. She used the baby shusher (which my husband immediately ordered on his phone) and we engaged in a very relaxed, easy conversation while we waited for babe to doze off. The amount of patience that Aimee has is so great and a crucial trait to have during a newborn shoot. It was mezmerizing to watch her bounce, change and prep our babe and a skill that I don't believe is something that can be learned. Aimee has two young children of her own who were out of the studio hanging with there dad while she did her thing. She made us so comfortable when handling our girl and it was no big deal when our angel pooped on the backdrop! (Whoops) After finishing our shoot we received our images in 3 days and LOVE THEM. Aimee was wonderful to work with! She was so patient with us and our rambunctious toddler. She had the cutest set up and went the extra mile to make sure the lighting was perfect!
