Mia is amazing, and so are the instructors of her programs. I did the kick boxing and self defence course and not only got a butt kicking workout but also learned some valuable self defence skills. When my daughter said "by the way I signed us up for circuit training, we start in 2 days..." I was terrified....After finishing the first class, I was hooked!!! Mia is incredibly energetic & supportive! The environment is fantastic. I never, in a million years, would imagine that I would be flipping tires & swinging sledge hammers...but I love it! Mia is a great trainer! Her classes were never repetitve and were targeted at a specific area of muscles each class. Her classes are free from judgement and you feel very at home while in the gym with her. She is great at keeping her clients engaged and motivated throughout the workouts (even when I felt like giving up she would always talk me into doing as much as I felt comfortable with). I would recommend her services to anyone, no matter what your fitness level is! I was very pleased with Mia and will continue to attend classes in the summer. More...

I have personally abused my body for years and I am a big girl. Two years ago now I decided I needed to get serious about my health and fitness. I tackled the healthy eating first and then I hired Mia as my personal trainer in May 2017 but gave her a long list of I can'ts. I have severe osteoarthritis in my knees especially my right one and bone on bone. I was very out of shape. Mia created a program that got me sweating big time but also worked well with all my ailments. Now today I am doing squats and lunges. I am doing planks, push ups and everything she throws at me. I am not a quitter and I trust Mia in her programming for me that is making me stronger and there is less of me too! Thank you Mia. More...

Mia is a great trainer and coach - she takes the time to walk through all of the exercises and is extremely supportive and encouraging during each personal training session. Mia helps you set attainable weekly goals and encourages you to work gradually, but steadily, towards an overall lifestyle change versus the latest 30 day cleanse or diet. Mia is a great personal life coach. She makes you feel normal about how you feel and helps you realize that being healthy, mentally and physically is much more than just a diet, cleanse or "the new fab" of fitness. She has helped me overcome some major back pain with functional movement training and now we are slowing moving into full weight and cardio training to get me back to where I once was with my fitness abilities. After being yelled at for two weeks to write one of these things, I’m writing one! This is a exceptionally great place to come in and work out with a fantastic group of people. Mia is a wonderful trainer that goes through all the movements to make sure everyone understands, even finds time to help ya out one on one. My daughter recently did the boot camp and brought her friend . They were both apprehensive at first but ended up loving it . They said it was fun and they will back ( even though her legs are sore ) work those muscles !! I also will be in with my friend that goes to your gym too . I love training with Mia! She's supportive and friendly but also pushes me and calls me out when I need it. I've gained so much strength and knowledge since I started with her and I wouldn't trade her for any other trainer! Her circuits are always an awesome sweat session too. Mia is hands down amazing!! I have tried many gyms in town and the classes they offered and never have liked ANY until I came to Aim For Fit I signed up for Barbells for Beginners 8 week program, and I have already learned so much. I had absolutely no proper form or technique and was just hurting my body more. Mia takes the time to make sure you understand the workouts and are doing them correctly. I felt the PROPER burn!!!! her smaller class sizes make it ideal for me. Plus the restorative yoga afterwards is a treat to unwind after lifting weights!! cant wait to sign up for more classes More...

I had the pleasure of working with Mia for 6 months last year. I have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. The workouts and program Mia put together for me were challenging but 100% suited to my goals. She was patient and extremely knowedlegable in many fitness and nutrition programs. As someone who didn’t know where to start with a new workout program, I found myself actually looking forward to her training session and classes. Mia and her team are excellent! I brought my students in Grade 7 and 8 to Aim For Fit as part of the physical activity community outreach program. My students loved the program and they were completely engaged at every session. Mia and her team tailored sessions to our students to make sure they were meeting their activity goals as well as having fun. Students were able to build and develop their physical fitness levels through engaging workouts, music, and encouraging comments. My class also really enjoyed the friendly competition with each other. Aim For Fit is a fantastic facility in our community. Mia and her team are supportive, positive and motivating. Mia is an excellent personal trainer. She adapts and alters her circuits and workouts to meet everyones individual needs and there are never any judgements. Love this gym!! Awesome space with a great variety of equipment, stuff I can’t find at my other gym! It’s comfortable and never over-crowded. The classes are a fun way to work up a sweat with a lovely group of welcoming people, and the class sizes aren’t too big so you still get the attention of the trainer. Owner and trainer Mia is so caring, attentive and knowledgeable.
