We first really enjoyed getting our Maternity photos done by Aida. She was super kind and professional and our photos turned out amazing! We enjoyed our Maternity photo shoot and fine art prints so much, we decided to also choose Aida for our baby's Newborn photos. The whole experience from start to finish felt special. Whether it was at our outdoor Maternity photo shoot or in studio Newborn photo shoot, we felt comfortable and had fun :) We now have beautiful family photos to enjoy and cherish for years to come. Aida was a pleasure to work with and really took the time to capture our family through some really special photos. The pictures were absolutely stunning and we have them framed all over our house! While the pictures were great, Aida was also extremely professional and took the time to get to know our family, so that the pictures reflected our personality. The day that we took the pictures, it was pouring rain and Aida still insisted that we do it outdoors and was a total trooper in terms of setting up on the beach and in the trees. We highly recommend Aida for newborn photoshoots. She took the time to understand what colour scheme we had in mind, and asked us for our thoughts on the colour and prop selections before she proceeded. She was incredibly gentle with my little boy, and captured some adorable facial expressions that we'll cherish for life! Not only was she amazing at posing our baby boy, she was also amazing at posing me and my husband (we are horrible at posing!). We are so pleased with how beautiful our photos turned out, and received so many compliments from friends and family. The photo selection process was a breeze. We look forward to having Aida capture our little boy's many future milestones!P.S. Aida was clearly very experienced in working with newborns. We found out towards the end of the photo session that she also takes newborn photos at BC Women's Hospital. No wonder our little boy was so comfortable with her! More...

I came across Aida Miri Photography on Instagram when I was searching for a photographer for my Maternity and Newborn shoot. I really liked her style of photography and enjoyed her editing. I personally do not like pictures that are overly photo-shopped. Aida was a pleasure to meet and work with. She was very accommodating and respected our wishes. My Maternity shoot was in early March and I was hoping for an outdoor shoot, but the weather was unpredictable. We decided to proceed with an in-studio shoot, but the day of, the weather was beautiful and Aida suggested we also head out for an outdoor shoot. I am really glad we did as we ended up with a combination of both in-studio and outdoor pictures. Aida beautifully captured pictures of our little Family and we will cherish these pictures for many Years to come. Aida is great at what she does. I’ve done multiple portrait sessions with her and I love my photos. She is friendly and nice and always makes me feel comfortable during our photo session. She listens to my ideas and what I would like the photos to look like and incorporates her creativity into the process. Photo sessions are casual and fun.
