What do you love most about your job?
First, and most important; I chose this field because it is a natural fit for me. Although I have gone through extended schooling to obtain my Master’s degree in Professional Counseling at Argosy University. My natural way of being is very congruent with what you want and look for in a counselor or psychotherapist.
I am an AMAZING LISTENER; not only do I hear the words that are coming from your mouth but I also hear the words behind your words…you know…the things you aren’t saying but mean to say.
I am GIFTED in being able to get what you are saying; then feedback the words that you mean to say in a way that it’s obvious I understand you.
I am EXCELLENT about not making you or the things you say and have done “right” or “wrong.” You will often hear me say that it’s neither “right” nor “wrong,” it just IS.
I have a HIGH VALUE for AUTHENTICITY, I practice it and I create a LOVING, NURTURING, environment so you can be as authentic as possible.
My presence is PEACEFUL, I am EMPATHIC, and my facilitation of therapy is INTUITIVE. I place a lot of focus on “mindset” which are the messages you tell yourself and the things you believe.
I am your BIGGEST cheerleader and always choose the path that EMPOWERS you.
Beyond this…I have a high value for continuously increasing my skillset. In the areas I am MOST passionate about MINDSET, MONEY, BUSINESS, PARENTING, and interpersonal RELATIONSHIPS; I continue ongoing work to remain relevant and up to date in these areas. I am motivated by the FACT that we can’t take people FURTHER than WE have gone.
I LOVE myself, I LOVE my life, and I am committed to positively impacting the world through the people I SERVE.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Agape Transformation Practice was founded in 2011 with the goal of being a practice that can promote inner healing in a short time frame. Currently, our practice serves a population of people that are “mostly well.” People who recognize that a “tune-up” is needed to bring, clarity, understanding, empowerment, and the ability to more quickly reach their goals.
Our practice gives back to our profession by offering Master Level Counseling students an opportunity to hone their craft and strengthen their business acumen. Interns and Master Level clinicians not yet licensed with the state of Georgia offer therapy at a decreased price. If you have family member or friend who wants therapy but don’t have coverage for mental health, don’t want to use their insurance, or don’t want to budget for a Licensed Professional Counselor; our Master Level Clinicians are the perfect solution.
