We used The new Tau Hall which can take 250 people in Oct. I loved the designer trusses painted in white with the beautifully painted gray roof and walls. Was visiting Bloemfontein to attend a workshop held in the conference centre of African Footprints. The place is clean and tidy. The the food served was nice, we had breakfast, lunch and dinner with them. My only suggestion would be more organic foods especially at the breakfast buffet. Stayed at the Footprints Lodge in October . Visiting Bloemfontein once every month to visit my daughter studying at the University of the Free State. Originally we wanted to return for a visit in November but they were fully booked already for the date we had in mind. This lodge is very neat, tidy and I just love the décor and paintings. All the staff is so friendly. Very safe and location is excellent for my purpose of visit. My one night stay at the African Footprints Lodge turned into one I will remember because of the friendly, professional and warm service I recieved. African Footprints and Conferences is not the same place as African Footprints Lodge. That leads to a bit of confusion with the reviews. We actually went to the wrong one when we arrived. There are no meals at this one. There is a pool. Our room was big with a separate toilet. Bed was comfy. The shower was in the corner in the main room. The odd thing was that pump soap and shampoo were supplied but over the hand basin not in the shower and the position of the shower recess meant that the curtains for the front windows got wet whenever you showered. Otherwise good. Secure parking and walking distance to small shopping area with a nice bar and a couple of restaurants.
