Hired a photographer from Kirk McGee Studios for our wedding in April 2018. Everything turned out wonderful. We were overly impressed with the professionalism of Ed our Photographer. He called us a few times before the wedding date to go over details and any special requests for photos we had. He worked well with family members and guests to make sure every photo we wanted was taken. Our photos were available on the website within about a week. Our family and guests were able to view all the photos from our special day. My family and I ordered pictures from the company website and they turned out beautifully. We really enjoyed Kirk photographing our wedding day. He did an excellent job. He came out all the way from Texas to Colorado to photograph, and did not charge us for travel fees. He was flexible with the overall price, as we had a budget. He answered emails very quickly, within the hour usually. On the day of the wedding, he was early, and started taking pictures immediately. He seemed to know what he was doing when taking pictures. He did a good job of following us around during our reception, but keeping a far enough distance where it wasn't distracting. He had proofs of all our photos a week after the wedding, and is sending out a USB with photos to us as well. At the end of the night, he almost left without getting paid. We obviously made sure to pay him, but I thought it was cool how he didn't bug us for the money at the beginning of the day. More...

I cannot say enough good things about Trevor and Kirk! Kirk made the whole process pretty straight forward and was very quick to respond. Trevor was amazing! We had some delays with our start time but he made such good use of that time while we waited that I got shots I didn't think I'd get because of our time restrictions! He definitely has an eye for this! He got some pretty amazing pictures with just one click it seemed like! And he was very patient with our families and whatever requests we had that weren't part of the original shot list. I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a super friendly, easy to work with and undeniably talented photographer who is of course very affordable (it's in their name!). The customer service provided by Kirk and Peter has been outstanding! They really go above and beyond! I had some issues with almost all of my files a little over a year AFTER our wedding and they’ve been so quick to respond and help us save our wedding pictures! More...

We're still riding the love train with it all captured through the camera lens of Photographer, Patrick Vear, with Kirk McGee Studios.
We were married on November 5th at The 1909 in Topanga Canyon.
We researched everyone out there & mediocrity wasn't an option. Once we read the mission statement of Kirk McGee Studios, we knew we had found the perfect Studio to capture our memories on our wedding day.
We looked through their photographers available in Los Angeles and while the portfolios of each were great, there was something special about Patrick's candid shots, that pulled us in.
After the first email correspondence with Kirk, we knew we had made the right decision. A renowned photographer in his own right, the owner of this studio, answers his own emails and phone calls.
We had the pleasure of having Patrick spend 6 hours with us on our wedding day.
He was very kind, with a wonderful spirit and he was busy taking photos the entire time. He must have been exhausted but we never saw it. He had such a great work ethic and the guests even noticed.
We couldn’t wait to see our photos and in a couple of weeks, there they were online ! It was Thanksgiving weekend and seeing our photos gave us one more thing to be thankful for!
Kirk McGee offered us a great deal to purchase all 1100 of our photos on a flash drive for a discounted rate which was a great opportunity for us to not have to pick and choose.
The flash drive has just arrived and what a joy it is to see our photos as we flip through them on our computer.
Patrick and his camera captured every laugh, every tear, every kiss, and he saw things we never saw. These photos will be cherished for a lifetime.
We are so excited to have our favorites printed and shared with our family and friends.
If you're reading this review, you're probably very busy preparing for your wedding. The best advice I can give you is to stop looking at any other company - choose Kirk McGee Studios and if you’re in the Los Angeles area, choose Patrick Vear. It will be the very best decision you will make!

We had our wedding on 10/7 in Houston. Kapri was our photographer and she was wonderful. She was so accommodating to our situation (sister with special needs & HUGE family on my husband's side) she had a great sense of humor and tons of patience yet she didn't waste time. I think it depends on the photographer what your experience is but our experience was great. As far as the company Kirk is very professional and hardworking. Answered my emails and calls right away. He placed my order at 10 pm as soon as I emailed him, definitely not business hours but it shows the dedication. More...
