Great doc. Helped my husband with terrible sciatica. I’m a chiropractor myself and strongly recommend Dr. Bill.

Dr. Bill bolster has a solid foundation of knowledge on the body. Came in for shoulder/neck pain. Was able to assess that my internal rotation on my right shoulder was an issue. He's straightforward, and just wants you to be in good health. More...

Can’t say enough about Dr. Bolster and his treatment approach. He truly cares about you as a person and wants the absolute best for you. My line of work has made my treatment difficult at times. But he gives me suggestions as to how to continue to work with limited pain. He encourages me when I’m ready to give up and continues to remind me to trust the process. He’s the best More...

I began to see Dr. Bolster when I started experiencing lower back pain, radiating down my leg and foot. He immediately diagnosed my condition as a disc imjury, causing pressure on the sciatic nerve. (This was later confirmed by an MRI). His approach to my treatment has made all the difference. On my first visit he was able to relieve that pressure making it possible for me to go about my day. As a chiropractor, he is fantastic and knows his trade very well. But his expertise doesn't stop there. He is also very experienced in sports injury rehabilitation which is exactly what I needed. Do yourself a favor, if you even suspect you need help, please go see Dr. Bolster. You will not be disappointed. More...

Bill is the best! I've been working with him for a month now to help me recover from a back injury. I have seen massive improvements in mobility and strength in just a few weeks. The best part is that Bill is about providing long-term, tailored solutions to help your body perform at its peak. If your are looking for an A-Z solution, Bill is your guy! More...

Dr. Bolster helped tremendously with my post-pregnancy sciatica flare ups. He treated me for several weeks with a combo of acupuncture, adjustments, and physical therapy. He was so thorough in explaining his recommendations and there is a noticeable difference. I highly recommend. Clean facility, answered all my questions. More...

I had an awesome experience working with Dr. Bolster after a hip injury. His approach is scientific but it's not one size fits all. I felt like he tailored my treatment to me and he is extremely knowledgeable. He also does acupuncture, fire cupping and obviously chiropractic work. Definitely recommend!! More...

Q&As

Simply put, diet is everything. Whether a patient is trying to build muscle, relieve pain, or simply feel better, diet is the most important factor. I always tell my patients, "You cannot outwork a poor diet". Diet has been shown to play a critical role in: recovery, depression, anxiety, diabetes, cancer, etc. At Afferent Influence, your diet will be evaluated and discussed at each visit to ensure long term health and success.

With advanced certifications as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), and Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES) I am more than capable to help each individual reach their personal goals. More importantly my education as a Chiropractic Physician allows me more insight into proper dietary considerations and my Diplomate on the American Chiropractic Rehabilitation Board allows me to evaluate movement and biomechanics to help ensure injury will never take place.

I don't think there is a true "secret". The definition of the perfect body is different based on who you ask. Everyone seemingly wants to reinvent the wheel, and give a new trick. Consistency is always the key to success. Continually putting your time in through exercise and diet will undoubtedly get you closer to your goals.

First, I love helping people rehabilitate injury, and relieve pain. I was a chronic back pain patient at an early age, which eventually led to back surgery. I can truly empathize with people who are dealing with debilitating pain. There is a colossal misunderstanding when it comes to back pain (and pain in general) which is leading to the overprescription of opioids. If I can be part of the solution rather than further the problem, that is extremely satisfying.

The ability to pursue the American dream. Starting my own business means there's an endless opportunity for growth. With growth comes the opportunity to help more people. That was the most attractive aspect of starting my own practice.

There are undoubtedly a multitude of options to choose from. However, I believe that I can offer clients/patients more options at one location. At Afferent Influence, clients can personal train, use the facility as a private studio, or benefit from a number of treatments to help eliminate and relieve pain. Physical therapy, acupuncture, cupping, and myofascial dry needling are all services that I offer, and excel at. I believe this is where Afferent Influence separates itself from its competitors.
