Boarding
Plasterboard is a panel made of calcium sulfate dihydrate (gypsum) with or without additives and normally pressed between a facer and a backer (typically thick sheets of paper). It is used to make interior walls and ceilings.
Damp Issues
Damp issues can damage much more than a building’s appearance. It may lead to the deterioration of plaster and masonry, promote timber decay and create unhealthy conditions for occupants.
Dry Lining
Dry lining is a system for cladding the internal faces of buildings, such as walls and ceilings. plasterboard is attached to the internal faces, creating a smooth surface that finishes such as paint can be applied to directly, a ‘wet’ plaster finish is not required.
Mould Removal
Once mould grows in a building, mould removal is a must in order to maintain the health of the occupants and also to ensure protection of the things where these moulds grow.
Rendering
Rendering is the process of applying cement mixture to external, or sometimes internal, walls to achieve a smooth or textured surface. It is similar in technique to plastering.
Skimming
We skim coat by laying a thin, smooth layer of joint compound. Skim coating is a texturing technique used to make a wall smooth.
