What do you love most about your job?
The greatest pleasure is to see people develop and grow. It is encouraging to see them overcome challenges and discover strengths they do not know they have. It is wonderful to see a person's relief when he/she finally finds a way to balance his/her life concerns and make systematic progress. I love to hear feedback of how relationships are improving with loved ones, friends, family, work colleagues etc. It is heart-warming to watch as people learn and understand more about themselves. It is brilliant to see them become aware that there are so many possibilities to be explored. It is very satisfying to see a person build self esteem and self confidence, to see him/her shine. I enjoy building authentic, meaningful relationships with my clients that help them to uncover their true selves, giving them strength and support in their lives. Every person is unique with beautiful qualities and abilities. It is rewarding to see people become their best selves and make the most of their lives.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I decided to follow what I love. Over 30 years I counselled and coached people in various settings- as a manager in business, designing strategies, training and coaching individuals and groups; as an educational consultant helping students to work towards and develop their careers; as an advisor helping user groups and management committees in the voluntary sector. So many people were approaching me for counselling and coaching and referring me to friends/companies. I like being independent and enjoy the variety of ways I can provide services and add value for individuals and companies. It is fulfilling to see people and companies thrive and grow.
Why should our clients choose you?
I will help them to live a life they love and increase their strengths and abilities. I have extensive experience in counselling, coaching, training and mentoring so I can adapt to the various requirements they may have. I also have a background in psychotherapy and take an integrative, transformational approach. My clients have been very satisfied with results and return to me when they need to address changes and new developments in their lives. They feel very comfortable with our sessions. In general they find me pleasant, friendly and encouraging with a good sense of humour. They have been impressed by my care and dedication and feel that they can trust and rely on me. Many have commented that they found our sessions very motivational and inspiring. They have been delighted to live a more meaningful life with better balance, improved creativity and productivity. They found they had become more resilient and were confident that they could deal with life's challenges.
