I have been working closely with Aetha Design for over 3 years now. I came to them with a problem I wanted to solve, but no idea how to create a product that would solve it. Tom, Josh and the team brainstormed many excellent approaches and worked with me over time to refine them. We've since landed on a very promising concept which they're helping me take through prototyping and manufacture. The length of time my project has taken is only reflective of the fact that I chose to repeatedly stop and start working on the project. Whenever I have asked for their support, they have always made an effort to get back to me quickly and schedule me in. Not only are they very talented designers but they're also extremely helpful and supportive. Sophie has gone out of her way on many occasions to flag funding opportunities and other services which may be of interest to me and to support and encourage me in pursuing them - including an Innovate UK Women in Innovation Award which I won! I came across Aetha online when looking for a product designer/developer for my idea concept. From the very beginning i was made to feel at ease, everything was explained to me in detail regarding the steps required to develop my idea into a viable product. We have had several meetings to go over the designs ideas which quickly turned into functioning prototypes. My Product is currently in stage 2 development with Aetha and i must say im completely blown away. Not only how fast we got to a viable product but the quality of the build and attention to detail. The team at Aetha have the rare combination of being both capable problem solvers as well as having an amazing eye for aesthetics. I have worked with them now for over a year as we further developed my creation the "Nosy" from an idea that was the figment of my imagination to a fully developed consumer product. The team are really great to work with - very professional and thoughtful in everything they do. They always go the extra mile to support you such as helping consider ways to decrease cost, improve the consumer experience or helping with marketing. The only wish I had is that they had more people on the team as they are always very busy with work and sometimes can take them a while respond to email. That said, it pales in comparison to the value that they bring. As long as we have design work to complete, I will keep on coming back to Aetha to help us ideate new product lines and directions. We have worked with AETHA for the past eight months on developing our concept for a reusable drinks bottle from a hazy sketch with a long list of requirements to the beautiful, stylish prototype now sitting in front of us. The team were brilliant from the outset, taking care to fully understand our ideas, through the development process, providing clear timelines and costs for all stages with plenty of opportunity to discuss and refine our product, to the final prototype which the team spent so much time on getting just right.
