What’s the secret to taking a great photograph?
Taking a great photograph involves many different factors. Things such as lighting and composition can make or break a photo quickly. Knowing how to utilize whatever lighting conditions you're presented with is one of my top items to consider when composing a photograph.
What questions might you ask a client when starting a new project?
A few questions I typically ask are listed below however, they are not the only questions I would ask. The style of photography a customer wants really dictates what questions I would ask. The ultimate goal is to provide an amazing experience for the customer from start to finish.

What do you love most about your job?
I love my job because it's always changing. Whether it's the people, the style, or the location... there's always something different. For me though, the best part is seeing a customer's reaction when they see their final photos for the first time. It's extremely rewarding when you're able to provide something that a customer loves.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I've always had an interest in photography. I really started getting heavily into it when I was in junior high and high school. I took several classes during that time and just fell in love with it even more. After I retired from the military, I held a couple of different jobs and decided that I was tired of working for someone else. I decided to my hobby into a profession. I enrolled in a Professional Photography degree program and haven't looked back since.
Why should our clients choose you?
My goal is to provide the best possible experience for whatever style of photography you're looking for. I'm not satisfied until the customer is satisfied. I would definitely prefer more than just a satisfied customer though. I want to make a lasting impression with my clients that keeps them coming back and that they refer their friends and family too. It's one of the reasons I offer a guarantee on my sessions. If you aren't satisfied, we will redo the shoot until you are.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
The studio is cleaned and disinfected after every use. Any items used, such as clothing or linens, are washed immediately after use. If a client is feeling unwell for any reason, the session will be rescheduled.
Boudoir/dudoir/intimate couples
We offer a personalized boudoir experience. This experience includes, but is not limited to the following:
A glass of wine, beer or other beverage
Hair & makeup
Custom music playlist
An interview with the photographer to determine the style, location, and other pertinent info to provide you with the best boudoir experience
Other requests to further personalize your experience can be made, but are not guaranteed
Due to the nature of the experience, it is limited to those 18 years of age and older (21+ for alcohol).
Portraits
Portraits are available in studio or on location. A variety of backdrops and lighting are available in the studio.
Family photos
Family photos are available in studio or on location. The studio offers several lighting and backdrop configurations to make your photos as personalized as possible.
Digital photo correction/processing
We can edit your digital photos in a variety of ways. We can make many different adjustments and corrections to your digital photos.
Aerial Photography
We offer a wide variety of aerial photography. Everything from property, portrait, adventure, and landscape photographs are at our disposal. We use high-end drones to capture what you need.
Professional headshots
We offer professional indoor and outdoor headshots. We can come to you, or you can come to us. In-studio photography allows us to use a wide variety of lighting and backdrop setups.
