Hi everyone, just thought I'd share my experience with one of the instructors who posted on here a few months ago. Had an absolutely brilliant weekend with Tom Horrocks a couple of weekends ago and spent the Saturday in Avon Gorge and the Sunday in Wintours Leap. This was two full days of FREE tuition offered by Tom, and it was great fun. All the climbs were multipitch and this was all new to me so it was good to have someone experienced show me the ropes (sorry). Tom was a really good teacher and explained everything really well, and the climbing was all very safe and fun. I would highly recommend Tom to anyone, whether you are an experienced climber or not, for tuition or even just a day out on the wall. More...

Completed a trek up Mount Everest to the base camp. Tommie at Adventure Fitness Consultants prepared us for the trek. His personalised exercise plans helped us all get in shape for the climb - when each of us started at a different fitness level. His knowledge of what is needed for climbs and tailored climbing weekends were fun and challenging would highly recommend for a different way to train/ get in shape. Consistency... There is no magic formula unfortunately. Eat and sleep well. Train in the right way to increase muscle mass
