I have been coming to Adventure fitness for the last couple of years to do my Cryotherapy Sessions before my fights, I always found it as a place I wanted to give a try since the place looked super neat, and now my girlfriend and I finally joined and we love this place, is very friendly, clean, and super equipped with everything you need, for anything you want to do, anywhere from rock climbing to punching bags, very nice place to train and very private, perfect place to get our workout done and go, also avoiding crowded gyms where is hard to get to the machine you want to use until someone else is done with it I love this place!.

Amazing gym with more equipment than I have seen. If they don't have it, you don't need it. Knowledgeable and helpful staff. If you are serious about working out, getting started or sports specific training - check this place out. The owner, Susan, has an incredible "wall of certifications." Hello, and welcome to Adventure Fitness Athletic Club. My name is Susan Schaffner and I became the owner of AFAC in May of 2017. Being the owner of this gym is a dream come true because it allows me to pursue my life’s passion of helping people achieve greater health and wellbeing. My mission is to make AFAC the best gym in Thornton, Colorado.
Why should our clients choose you?
Some of the many benefits you’ll enjoy at our gym include:
• Unique services like Cryotherapy, hydro-massage, bariatric support, body composition testing, Power Plate, CrossCore, Nordic Walk classes, and an expansive climbing cave. We also have experienced, certified trainers in the gym at all times to help you customize a fitness program that's right for you.
• A variety of free weights and weight training machines including dumbbells (5-100 lbs.), kettlebells, powerlifting, full cages, a full jungle gym, cable machines, and stacked weight machines, as well as leg press, hack squat, shoulder press, chest press, triceps and biceps machines.
• Cardio equipment including treadmills, upright bikes, recumbent bikes, ellipticals, VersaClimbers, Helix machines, spin bikes, Airdyne bikes, and stepper machines.
• Fun and challenging equipment including Versa Pulley, VIPRs, Jacob’s Ladder, Ab Coasters, Traverse Machines, Assisted Pull-up and Dip Machine, cargo net, and boxing equipment.
• Free classes for our gym members including Yoga, Fit Soldiers 2.0, Boot Camp, Functional Fitness, Circuit Training, Strength and Conditioning, Dance Fitness, TRX, Spin, Body Sculpt, Total Body Conditioning, POP Pilates, PickleBall, Kickboxing, and Meditation.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
What we are doing:
-Cleaning gym equipment and rooms, including bathrooms, the cryotherapy room, etc. after each use
-Encouraging distancing guidelines in workout areas and classes
-Providing disinfectant stations to encourage gym members to clean high touch surfaces before and after each use
-Fogging several times a week, which includes the entire gym and ventilation systems with a hospital-grade disinfectant
