Found Advent Removals through a moving quotes website, got a quote from them for £560 (for a 1 bed flat!!). Got other quotes for £235 (leader removals) and £195 (anqmovers). Decided to go with the competitors and let Tom know after he followed up only to get told I'm a "timewaster" (see screenshots). If this is what they're like at the quote stage, why would I want to move with them? Very unprofessional and very overpriced. Would not recommend! More...

I called this company on Thursday, as l had to move that day! I was so lucky l called the, it was Toms day off, it he came to my rescue, and l am so grateful he did, what lovely guys, they arrived on time, and did a very professional job, thank you so much to two gents, l will definitely recommend them, and will use them for my next move ♀️

I recently moved from a one bedroom flat in London to Margate and had gone on Compare My Move to see who could do that journey. Five companies came up and contacted me immediately. Tom was the only one who offered to come round and do a free survey and then provided a quote at a fixed price which alleviated any worries I had about getting ripped off by hidden costs. He offered excellent packing advice in the build up (and actually during) the move and I only wish the kettle was able to be set up at the other end a bit quicker to give him a well earned cup of tea. A very professional, speedy move and I would highly recommend to anyone who was in the same position I was and a bit bewildered by all the options. More...

Tom and his team worked really hard to get us moved, he came and assessed the work first so that there was a clear view of the size of the job and there were no surprises on the day - one less thing to worry about in a particularly stressful period. This company is amazing.Whilst on their way to my flat, they kept me constantly updated as to their whereabouts.Tom and son arrived and got straight down to business loading the van, nothing was a problem and they worked carefully and speedily. Upon arrival at my new home, the van was unloaded quick as you like.Such a lovely company and people who made a stressful time ever so much easier.I highly recommend Advent Removals to anyone moving home.Thanks a million guys More...
