David,          Being a professional, having integrity and keeping my word are hallmarks of my business that are normally reflected in my client's reviews. I am sure losing in Small Claims Court is a blow to David and the judgment of $4,476.84 must have been hard to pay - I do understand his intent to wrongfully and professionally hurt my business by constantly posting negative reviews all over social media. I do however take my reputation seriously and will tell you that David is falsely portraying events and my character. A client who requests a bid proposal, accepts the proposal, promises repeatedly to sign the contract and send in the down payment but does not - is not really a client. We ordered David's custom railings out of state on his word and instead of living up to his word and written emails to us - David chose to cancel our installation proposal and negotiate for a lower markup on the railings he now intended to install himself. Words were spoken on both sides - we graciously voided our installation charges and reduced our markup by half at David's insistence. Ultimately David would not take delivery or pay for the materials he ordered. The railings where delivered to David post judgement. Jeff, Wayne and Jannine are a great team. With decades of experience Jeff brought professionalism, creativity and an excellent work ethic to the project. Jeff kept me apprised of the work and expenses as things were progressing. I was consulted about all the details and he had some creative ideas which I appreciated. Wayne was an excellent assistant with an eye for detail and Jannine was available whenever I needed her inspiration with my design. This is the fourth project that we have used Advantage Services for and could not be happier with the outcome. Latest project involved a complete kitchen remodel, front entry remodel, replacement of the guest bathroom bathtub with a walk-in shower and new tile floor and replacement of an outside wooden deck with an upper and lower concrete patio area connected by stairs. When remodeling our Master Bath, we knew we wanted something special... and that is exactly what we got! Jeff and his designers came up with ideas we would have never thought of. The craftsmanship of their work was only complimented further by the materials Advantage Services recommended. I also want to point out how professional the entire process was. We have had Jeff do several complex jobs in our home over 16 years. Our latest project was a major remodel of our kitchen and living areas. It included a reconfiguration of the kitchen, custom cabinets, complete wall tile, new appliances, plumbing and electrical updates, refinishing of existing wood floors plus additional new wood flooring in the family room, upstairs bath and hall, extensive painting throughout the house and re-grouting of an existing shower. The project came in ahead of schedule and to our complete satisfaction!

Since we first knew Jeff, we came to understand he has a deep sense of perfection in his and his subs’ work. His commitment to customer satisfaction is a rare commodity in today’s world and refreshing to experience. We know he thoroughly understands the building process and will have a logical solution to every undertaking. He stands by his work and if anything is not satisfactory, he will fix it. He gives you a timeline for the project and does everything possible to stick to it. He lets you know when he or his subs will be coming to work, and you can rely on them being there. He communicates any variance from the schedule ahead of time and never leaves you “hanging”.

We have used Advantage Services for several major remodels of our 1960s ranch home. Three separate projects included creating an entry from the original breezeway; extending the home to create a guest bedroom from an original study, enlarged master bedroom with large walk-in master closet; and opening up and remodeling the original kitchen as well as bumping out the original dining room. Jeff kept to the contracted budget, met every deadline as promised, and kept the construction areas incredibly safe and tidy every evening, allowing us to continue to live comfortably in our home. Excellent quality and on time. This is the 2nd time we've hired Jeff on a remodel. We purchased a 5 year old home that had been pretty beat up and we needed all work completed within 3 weeks. We received a quote from Jeff and a couple of other contractors referred to us by our realtor. We knew Jeff would do an excellent job and he promised the job would be complete in 3 weeks. He was true to his word. Jeff and his crew were able to refinish all our cabinets in kitchen and bathrooms, replace the front door and the trim, install travertine tile in 2 rooms, install all of the appliances and paint the entire house in time for us to move in. Great workmanship, timely delivery.
We hired Jeff to do a complete kitchen remodel in spring 2010. Surprisingly, the project was quite "painless" because of Jeff's business skills. He showed up on time every day, had schedules in order, supplies on hand and constantly amazed us with his attention to detail. Unlike most contractors, Jeff is skilled in so many specialities he subs out very little work. This including laying a travertine floor and installing a tile backsplash. He has strong opinions and isn't afraid to push the envelope to enhance the project. At the same time, he recognizes when to back off and give the client what he/she wants. I would re-hire Jeff in a minute for any project I have. He and his partner were so pleasant to have around, we actually missed their showing up each day once the kitchen was completed -- on time, on budget. Jeff is one of the most scrupulous, honest, skilled builders/contractors and craftsmen in the business. Everything he does exceeds expectations. If I were building a house, he'd be first on the list to get the job done. I had a couple occasions to use his services to correct problems in my house caused by the last builder. Needless to say, I was extremely wary of hooking up with another bad contractor. Fortunately, my interior decorator recommended Jeff to do the work. What I like about Jeff is he only uses good subs and actually ensures the work is done well by them.
