We highly recommend Holland Heating and Plumbing. They have recently installed our whole heating system (10 radiators, boiler, hot water tank).   Always willing to meet us at a time convenient for ourselves, they never cancelled a meeting and turned up exactly on time.  The team were extremely hardworking and friendly completing the work to a very high standard, quickly and efficiently.  They patiently explained the entire system to us and let us know we can contact them with any questions.  We are very happy customers! My boiler kept going wrong - every 2-3 years it needed a new 3-way valve - at £80 a time for the part alone, I felt drained! (Pun intended). In the past I'd looked for a plumber - this time I looked for a Worcester Bosch specialist. Holland's fulfilled all my requirements. They had a go at mending my boiler but gave up on it as past repair, then fitted a new boiler (same make) and did some other plumbing work that has made the boiler more efficient! They told me that my first one had been wired up wrongly and that the pipes had too narrow a bore! My lesson from this expensive business is that there are plumbers and Plumbers! Look carefully to make sure you have a worker who specialises in your make of boiler. If they don't they'll just pretend to do the job and happily take your money. I'd had my old boiler 'serviced' at least twice, but apparently by people who didn't know how to service a Worcester Bosch. They still charged me but didn't do anything. One person held up a machine to it and said his checks proved that it was okay, but he didn't even take the cover off! None of them cleaned the 'exchanger', presumably because they didn't know that that had to be done annually as part of a W Bosch service. Of course, I haven't yet experienced whether it'll keep working in winter and following summer when the valve gets to be used a lot, but this time I'll have a valid 10 year guarantee and a yearly service contract. So I'm more confident that it will last without needing £100s spent on it every couple of years. I've been assured that while the guarantee is in place, so long as the service contract is in place all I pay is the cost of that. (£85 @ year, which sounds good value to me!) As for the actual installation, two men came; they started at 8am, took an hour for lunch and had completed the job by 3pm. They left very little mess themselves - I had the house to sort out as I'd had to move things to provide access, but they cleared up after themselves and used floor coverings, which they removed carefully and left me with a very tidy boiler area. I reckon they charged a competitive price for the whole job too. The whole job was well under my budget of £4000! I reckon this is a good firm. I recommend them to anyone seeking reliable work.
