Addie’s is a real hidden treasure and one not to be missed. I’ve had lunch several times and thoroughly enjoyed my meal but had never had dinner until last night. The dinner was amazing. The food was great, but more importantly, the people were wonderful! We stayed at the inn and hung out at the bar most of the evening where we were able to order anything from the regular menu. Despite there being to very large parties on the same night that pretty much filled the place, we never felt neglected. Best bed we slept on in the Bourbon Trail. The young woman at the desk was extremely helpful, gave a great dinner recommendation, and even have is the history of the building when asked. Great atmosphere, food was pretty good. It's been better though, and I would say they are more often a 4+. Tonight, the pimento cheese was too salty and the chicken salad was on the dry side, but the crab cakes were spot on, as well as the sweet potato fries and pimento cheese sticks (different batch? ). My wife and I stopped here for lunch on our way to Woodford Reserve. The food was wonderful and dessert (bourbon bread pudding) was extremely flavorful and filling. Get the extra sauce!!! What set this place apart from the other stops along our honeymoon was the warm family feeling we received from Lily when walking through the front door. She was interested in who we were and why we were in the area. She provided us with extra information about taking a different path to Woodford that showcased the river and horse farms along with were to get some Bourbon Ball "Boo boo's".
