Top class photographer and a really decent bloke. Adam has a really easy and comfortable way about him as he made us as a couple, our families and guests feel at ease whilst organising the pictures in spite of the added pressure of rapidly fading winter light and an afternoon wedding. It never at any point felt like we were being watched or photographed as he has the ability to be there at the key moments but also the ability to melt into the background and not be intrusive of the ceremony. This allowed us to relax and enjoy the day and not feel pressured to perform for the camera. The day was challenging from a weather point of view but this only encouraged Adam who somehow managed to use the elements to enhance the pictures! Our day was an emotive one due to the fact we were flooded by storm Desmond the week before and our home was trashed but Adam had a plan b up his sleeve that ensured our day went without any issues. Also I would absolutely recommend the photo cube/booth. We positioned this in the gazebo at Dalston Hall full of fancy dress and props which Adam provided. Clearly our guests absolutely loved the booth and the wine (really enjoyed the wine) as the pictures were full of smiles, fun and a few ahem surprises. The booth is self operated like a passport booth so guests get their pics there and then and Adam supplied us with a pen drive with all the booth images. Just received our wedding photos from Adam. They are just so amazing. He captured the whole day perfectly. Loved the fact that we didn't do too many posing pictures. Really liked that we were taken away for time to have photos taken just the 2 of us. He really is a photographer ninja as he wasn't in anyone face with the camera and took the most natural photos. Adam did exactly what we wanted him to do, we wanted to capture the day naturally, not loads of formal (stand in a line) photos but of people enjoying their day and that is exactly what we got. Adam gave me the pen drive with the photos on and honestly we could not choose, we've had to have them all printed and put in an album and both parents have done the same because each and every photo is lovely. There isn't a bad photo! You made everyone feel at ease and I never felt like we were being watched or photographed all the time, we were allowed to enjoy our day just like everyone else because Adam was so good at capturing moments without us even noticing! Adam of Lake District Photography couldn't have captured our wedding any better! I found the Lake District Wedding Photography website and I was very impressed by Adams work, i messaged him about our wedding and he responded very quickly and was very helpful with my queries. We met up with Adam at the Lodore Falls wedding fayre and we knew then by seeing more of his work and meeting him in person that we were going to book him. Me and Gary aren't very good in front of the camera so I was a bit worried how things would turn out but on the wedding day Adam was great! We even forgot the camera was there so it felt relaxed and natural. He took a few but not too many posey photos and yet again it felt relaxed! One of our favourites was when we had them taken on the jetty, we were stunned when we saw the images! Just wow! We received a sneak preview of our photos a week after the wedding and they were amazing it made us more excited for the rest and when we got them we were just as amazed. Adam's enthusiasm was matched by his only creativity when it came to our (post) wedding photographs. Fortunately we stumbled across Adam's work on line. We loved what we saw and we knew that was how we'd like our Wedding day to be captured. .. and were not disappointed! His attention to detail is second to none and the images we have to remember our day, are simply stunning.
